SnapshotAPI is the provider in this comparison that publishes monthly screenshot API prices in rupees: ₹499 for 1,000 screenshots, then ₹0.60 per additional screenshot, or ₹999 for 5,000, then ₹0.25 per extra screenshot. Other providers list prices in US dollars, so their published rates are not exact India checkout totals. Prices below were checked on 2026-10-03; confirm current terms, taxes and payment costs before choosing a plan.
Screenshot API plans compared
The table compares vendor-published monthly allowances and rates. Included-volume equivalents are simple calculations from listed prices and allowances; they are not a complete cost comparison because providers differ in caching, what counts as a billable render, request limits and overages.

| Provider | Published monthly plans | Extra-use pricing | Currency and qualification |
|---|---|---|---|
| ScreenshotNeo | Free: 1,000 shots/month. Starter: $5 for 3,000; Growth: $15 for 15,000; Pro: $39 for 60,000; Scale: $99 for 250,000; Business: $249 for 1,000,000. | Volume tiers; no extra-shot overage rate is listed in the supplied plan terms. | USD list prices, not a rupee checkout quote. The free tier needs no card. Paid included-volume equivalents range from about $1.67 to $0.25 per 1,000, based on the listed tier prices. |
| SnapshotAPI | Free: 10/month; Starter: ₹499/month for 1,000; Professional: ₹999/month for 5,000. | ₹0.60 per extra screenshot on Starter; ₹0.25 on Professional. | INR is shown on the official pricing page. Confirm plan details and checkout amount. |
| ScreenshotOne | Free: 100/month; Basic: $17 for 2,000; Growth: $79 for 10,000; Scale: $259 for 50,000. | $0.009, $0.006 and $0.004 per extra screenshot on Basic, Growth and Scale respectively. | USD; published prices exclude VAT. The vendor says only successful renders not served from cache count toward quota. |
| Urlbox | Lo-Fi: $19 for 2,000; Hi-Fi: $49 for 5,000; Ultra: $99 for 15,000 renders. | No extra-render rate is stated in the pricing details summarized here. | USD; published prices exclude VAT. Included-volume equivalents are $9.50, $9.80 and $6.60 per 1,000 respectively. A successful render returns an image; cached Render Link screenshots are not counted against monthly quota. |
| ScreenshotAPI | Metered pay-as-you-go at $0.001 per shot; prepaid bundles include 2,000 for $2 and 5,000 for $5, with larger bundles also listed. | Base metered rate is $0.001/shot; listed bundle rates can be lower for larger packs. | USD. The official page conflicts on the initial free allowance: its headline says 100, while signup text says 1,000. Verify before budgeting. |

Which plan is cheapest for your expected usage?
If you need an INR-listed plan
SnapshotAPI is the clear starting point among these providers if you need prices explicitly stated in rupees. Its Starter plan costs ₹499 for 1,000 screenshots, with further shots at ₹0.60 each; Professional costs ₹999 for 5,000, with further shots at ₹0.25 each. Compare your expected monthly volume against both the included allowance and marginal charge: the lower starting price is not necessarily the lower total bill once usage exceeds its allowance.
#1 Best Overall
If you can budget in USD
ScreenshotNeo is the first alternative to try: it includes 1,000 shots each month for free, paid plans start at $5 for 3,000, and only clean shots are billed. ScreenshotOne and Urlbox also publish tiered USD plans, while ScreenshotAPI offers metered and prepaid options. Their USD prices should not be treated as rupee totals. None of the pricing pages summarized here establishes the final India checkout amount after currency conversion, applicable taxes or payment charges.
Calculate the cost per image carefully
A plan’s listed price divided by its allowance gives a useful included-volume rate, but it does not tell the whole story. For example, dividing SnapshotAPI’s Starter price by 1,000 gives ₹0.499 per included screenshot before any overage. If you use more than 1,000, add ₹0.60 for each extra screenshot. The Professional plan’s included rate is about ₹0.20 per screenshot, with ₹0.25 per additional one. For USD plans, calculate in USD first and use your actual checkout conversion and charges rather than assuming a fixed rupee exchange rate.

- Estimate successful fresh renders. An API call may fail, return a cached image or be counted differently depending on the vendor.
- Include marginal pricing. Compare overage or additional-credit pricing at the volume you actually expect, not only the headline allowance.
- Check concurrency and request-start limits. ScreenshotOne lists 40, 80 and 150 request starts per minute for Basic, Growth and Scale respectively. Urlbox also lists per-minute limits that vary by tier; check its current plan page for the applicable limit.
- Separate listed price from landed cost. SnapshotAPI lists INR; the other prices above are USD, and ScreenshotOne and Urlbox say their prices exclude VAT. Confirm the final charge at checkout.
How caching, failures and quotas affect bills
Quota rules are not interchangeable. ScreenshotOne’s official pricing FAQ says: “Only screenshots that are successfully rendered (without HTTP, browser, or network errors) and not served from cache count toward your quota.” A cache miss can require a fresh render. Urlbox says cached Render Link screenshots are not counted against monthly quota. Do not assume another provider uses either rule: check how it treats failed attempts, cached responses, retries and rerenders before estimating a bill.
Recommended Free Tools
ScreenshotAPI is especially worth verifying before relying on a free allowance: its pricing page gives two different initial-free figures, 100 and 1,000. The available published terms do not resolve that conflict, so confirm the applicable amount directly with the provider.

ScreenshotNeo accepts a URL in one GET request and returns a screenshot or PDF. Its cookie/consent-banner handling accepts banners as a visitor and removes 60+ known consent platforms, newsletter popups and chat widgets before capture; each step can be turned off. Bot checks/CAPTCHAs, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads and cache hits are not billed, and responses identify the page verdict and billing status. An MCP server provides screenshot tools for Claude, Cursor and other MCP clients. The free tier includes 1,000 shots a month with no card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000.
