In India, price listings captured by two comparison sites showed a substantial Samsung premium, but their figures differed—so check current prices for the same storage tier before buying.

Which is better, Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra or OnePlus 15R?
Choose the Galaxy S26 Ultra for camera flexibility, pen input and privacy
Samsung’s four-number rear-camera specification, together with its Ireland page’s description of telephoto lenses and up to 100x Space Zoom, points to a more varied camera setup on paper. The built-in S Pen is a practical differentiator if you regularly write, annotate or work directly on the phone. Samsung also describes a built-in Privacy Display, a feature to weigh if limiting on-screen visibility matters to you. These are feature-based reasons to consider the Ultra, not a claim that it wins every photo comparison.

Samsung calls it “our most powerful smartphone yet” and describes it as a versatile model for high-performance seekers and privacy-minded users. That is Samsung’s promotional characterization, not an independent performance finding.
Choose the OnePlus 15R for refresh rate and stated battery capacity
The 165 Hz OnePlus screen has a higher maximum refresh rate than Samsung’s 120 Hz specification. The OnePlus also has a larger stated battery capacity: 7400 mAh versus Samsung’s 5000 mAh typical figure. Capacity alone does not establish how long either phone lasts between charges; real battery life depends on use and testing conditions. Likewise, 80 W versus 60 W charging wattage does not by itself establish which device charges faster, particularly with different battery sizes.

Do not decide performance by chipset name alone
Samsung specifies Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 customized for Galaxy, while TechRadar lists Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 for the OnePlus 15R. These labels are not a substitute for comparable benchmark or real-world testing, and the specifications cited here do not establish which phone is faster in use.
