For buyers in India, the vivo V60 is the more battery- and telephoto-focused option on paper: vivo lists a 6,500mAh battery, 90W charging and a 50MP telephoto camera. Samsung’s Galaxy A56 5G has a 5,000mAh battery and a three-camera rear setup with 50MP, 12MP and 5MP sensors. Both offer AMOLED displays with refresh rates up to 120Hz. The better buy depends on which features matter to you—and on the live price of the same RAM and storage configuration.

Which phone has the more useful camera setup?
vivo V60: dedicated telephoto hardware
vivo lists 50MP main and telephoto cameras, along with an 8MP ultra-wide, and promotes the telephoto as a “50 MP ZEISS Super Telephoto Camera.” That gives the V60 a specifically listed telephoto option for framing subjects at a distance or making portraits with a tighter view.
Galaxy A56: three listed rear cameras
Samsung lists 50MP, 12MP and 5MP rear cameras. The specification page identifies the camera resolutions, but the figures alone do not show how the phones compare in detail, color, low light, autofocus or portrait rendering.

- The included 25W Fast Charger is a generic accessory and is not a Samsung-branded charger, 6.7" FHD+ Super AMOLED, 120Hz, HDR10+, 1080x2340px, Fingerprint (under display, optical), IP67 dust and water resistance
- 256GB, 12GB, No SD Card Slot, Exynos 1580 (4nm), Octa-core, Xclipse 540 GPU, Android 15, up to 6 major Android upgrades, One UI 7
- Rear Camera: 50MP, f/1.8 + 12MP, f/2.2 + 5MP, f/2.4, Front Camera: 12MP, f/2.2, 5000mAh Battery, Bluetooth 5.3
- 4G LTE: 1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/13/17/20/25/26/28/38/40/41/66, 5G: N1/3/5/7/8/20/28/38/40/41/66/77/78 - Dual SIM
- International Model – Global Connectivity – Plug & Play with an active SIM on AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and most U.S. carriers. New activations are supported on T-Mobile and Its MVNO's in the U.S., as some carriers may not recognize International IMEI's as Compatible. (No U.S. manufacturer warranty; Seller Return policy applies.)
Neither the number of megapixels nor ZEISS branding establishes which phone takes better pictures. Choose based on the hardware and shooting options you want; a reliable image-quality verdict would require comparable testing.
Battery and charging: capacity is not runtime
Samsung specifies a 5,000mAh typical battery for the Galaxy A56; vivo specifies 6,500mAh typical capacity for the V60 and lists 90W charging. The larger stated capacity and faster listed charging make the V60 the more compelling specification-sheet choice if charging speed and battery size are priorities.
Those figures do not establish how long either phone lasts in everyday use or how quickly it charges from a particular starting level. Usage, settings and charging conditions affect those outcomes, and the cited manufacturer specifications do not provide a controlled head-to-head result.

Displays and handling
Both phones have AMOLED displays with refresh rates up to 120Hz, and their listed resolutions are in the FHD+ class. The V60’s screen is slightly larger at 6.77 inches, compared with 6.7 inches for the A56. That difference may suit someone who prefers more screen area, while the shared refresh-rate ceiling is not by itself evidence that the panels look or behave identically.
The Galaxy A56 is listed at 198g and 162.2 × 77.5 × 7.4mm. vivo gives three V60 weights by color: Mist Gray at 192g, Auspicious Gold at 200g and Moonlit Blue at 201g; it also notes that dimensions vary by color. The V60 is therefore not one fixed weight across finishes, and the lightest listed color is not representative of every version.
Which should you buy?
Consider the vivo V60 if
- You want a dedicated telephoto camera listed alongside main and ultra-wide cameras.
- The larger stated battery capacity and 90W charging specification are important to you.
- You prefer its slightly larger display and have confirmed that your chosen color and configuration are available at a price you accept.
Consider the Samsung Galaxy A56 if
- You prefer Samsung’s phone ecosystem or have devices and services that make that a practical fit.
- Its listed 50MP, 12MP and 5MP rear-camera arrangement suits your needs without a dedicated telephoto being a priority.
- You can verify a lower price for the same RAM and storage tier than the V60 you are considering.
The available specifications do not support a universal winner for camera quality, performance or real-world battery life. Software-update commitments are also not compared here because the cited product material does not establish a reliable side-by-side basis.
