Both phones list a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization and a 12MP front camera. The A36’s listed secondary cameras have higher resolutions: 8MP ultrawide and 5MP macro, compared with the F70 Pro’s 5MP ultrawide and 2MP macro. Battery capacity versus stated playback time
The F70 Pro has the larger typical capacity, 6,000mAh versus 5,000mAh. Samsung lists up to 28 hours of video playback for the F70 Pro and up to 29 hours for the A36. These manufacturer-stated playback figures are not independent endurance tests and do not establish which phone lasts longer in mixed, everyday use.
Size, sound and connectivity
The A36 is 11g lighter and 0.7mm thinner according to the listed specifications. Their listed widths are both 78.2mm, and their heights are similar. Samsung lists stereo speaker support and Bluetooth 5.4 for the A36; the F70 Pro page does not list stereo support and specifies Bluetooth 5.1. If lighter handling or stereo sound matters to you, those listed differences favor the A36.

Which phone has longer listed security support?
For the India products compared here, Samsung lists security updates through 31 March 2031 for the A36 and 31 July 2032 for the F70 Pro. That gives the F70 Pro the later published end date. These dates apply to the listed India products and should not be assumed to describe other regional SKUs.
