A Samsung Members moderator said the A03s version of One UI discussed in the thread did not include one, and Samsung’s current supported-model list does not include the A03s. Check your phone’s Quick Panel: if Screen recorder appears, you can use it; if it does not, Samsung’s suggested alternative is a screen-recording app from the Play Store or Galaxy Store.
Check whether your A03s has Screen recorder
- Swipe down from the top edge of the screen to open the Quick Panel.
- Swipe down again to expand the controls, if needed.
- Look for Screen recorder.
The A03s-specific answer is useful guidance, not a complete compatibility list for every region, carrier, or software build. The Samsung Members moderator response was posted on 2023-09-04 and did not specify an Android or One UI version. If Screen recorder is available
- Tap Screen recorder in Quick Panel.
- Choose from the audio and touch-display options shown on your device.
- Tap Start recording. On supported devices, Samsung describes a three-second countdown before recording begins.
- Use the on-screen controls to pause or stop. Recordings are saved in Gallery.
Labels and available settings can vary by device and software. These are Samsung’s general instructions for supported Galaxy devices; they do not mean the recorder is present on every A03s.

Samsung’s guidance for unsupported devices is to try a screen-recording app from the Play Store or Galaxy Store. The Samsung Members moderator gave the same Play Store suggestion for the A03s. No particular app is established here as the best choice or guaranteed to work with every A03s software version.

Before installing an app, check that it supports your installed software and review its permissions and privacy disclosures. The available evidence does not establish that changing Quick Panel settings will reveal a missing recorder, that an Android upgrade will add it, or that an APK can safely install Samsung’s system recorder.
Why a recording may not capture everything
Protected photos or videos may be blocked from recording because of copyright protection. Samsung notes this limitation in its Galaxy screen recording and capture guidance. A third-party app cannot be assumed to bypass those restrictions.

Android’s general screen-recording instructions do not guarantee that Samsung exposes a recorder in the A03s interface. Samsung’s device-specific availability guidance takes precedence for this practical check.
