It is a living editorial calendar, not a guarantee of every RPG that may release that year. Its entries have different certainty levels: a listed day is a dated release, a year-only entry is 2027 with date TBA, and a game without a clear 2027 window might release in 2027. See the calendar.
How to read the 2027 RPG release calendar
- Dated: A specific day is listed. Dates are plans and can change.
- 2027, date TBA: The year is named, but no month or day is provided.
- Might release in 2027: The game has been announced, but the calendar does not give it a clear 2027 window. This is not a confirmed 2027 release.
The calendar also includes more than brand-new games: remakes and editions, expansions, and games scheduled to leave or enter Early Access appear alongside full releases. The list excludes Early Access games unless they have a firm date for leaving Early Access. Platform availability is title-specific; consult each entry for its listed platforms.

Persona 4 Revival needs verification: the source calendar lists it in February and again on May 20. Those conflicting entries do not establish one definitive date, so check the live listing and publisher information before relying on either.

What the official EXODUS page confirms
EXODUS’s official site identifies it as a story-driven, single-player, third-person sci-fi action-adventure RPG from Archetype Entertainment, published by Wizards of the Coast. It gives April 7, 2027 as the launch date and names PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and Epic Games Store. The game is set 40,000 years in the future and centers on humanity’s survival and time dilation. The site says pre-orders are not live and pricing, editions, and bonuses will be announced later.
RPGs listed for 2027, with dates TBA
These entries are presented as 2027 releases without a specific day in the calendar. Their inclusion should not be read as a dated launch commitment.

For two examples of year-only announcements, KONAMI’s September 3, 2026 announcement describes Rev. NOiR as a single-player RPG planned for 2027 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam, without giving a launch date. The calendar lists Pokémon Winds and Waves for 2027 on Switch 2; the independent GamesRadar schedule likewise presents it as TBC 2027. GamesRadar’s release schedule also lists Fable for February 23, illustrating the difference between a day-specific date and a year-only window.
Announced RPGs that might release in 2027
The following games are announced, but the calendar does not provide a clear 2027 release window. Keep them separate from confirmed 2027 entries rather than treating them as part of a firm release schedule.

Why the calendar can change
Release dates are subject to change, and the calendar describes itself as regularly updated. A separate schedule such as Game Informer’s 2027 release-date list also says it assigns titles to months only when dates are confirmed. For a purchase or travel plan, verify a high-interest game against its publisher or developer announcement and recheck the calendar; for undated entries, use the year-only label until a specific date is announced.
