Roku Pro Series OLED Alternatives: The Best OLED TVs for Streaming in 2026

The LG B6, LG C6 and Samsung S90H each suit a different buyer looking beyond Roku’s 2026 Pro Series OLED. Compare streaming features, review measurements, size options and room conditions.

The best alternative to Roku’s 2026 Pro Series OLED depends on what you want from a streaming TV. Choose the LG B6 for a budget-oriented OLED and a broader reported size range, the LG C6 for brighter HDR highlights, or the Samsung S90H if bright-room reflection handling matters. Roku remains the natural pick if you want Roku OS and its apps and free live channels on the TV’s home screen.

These are not interchangeable upgrades: compare screen size, room brightness, HDR and audio formats, and the interface you prefer. The measurements below come from published 2026 reviews, not a single standardized test across every model.

What is the Roku Pro Series OLED?

This comparison is about Roku’s 2026 Pro Series OLED, not the company’s earlier Pro Series QLED televisions. Roku lists standard OLED models in 55 and 65 inches, as well as LX versions in those sizes. The standard line is 4K with a 120Hz refresh rate and four HDMI 2.1 inputs, one of which supports eARC.

Roku’s official specifications include Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HLG, Dolby Atmos, Roku OS, Wi-Fi 5, Ethernet, Bluetooth, USB-C, and USB-A. The LX versions add up to 144Hz VRR and Wi-Fi 6; Roku also lists a rechargeable remote with hands-free voice for LX. See Roku’s Pro Series OLED product page for the model and feature details.

Which OLED is the best Roku alternative?

TV Best fit What the evidence says
LG B6 OLED Budget-oriented OLED buyers, especially those seeking more size choices. TechRadar compares it directly with Roku and reports a broader size range. RTINGS says the B6 replaced the B5 in 2026 but had not tested the B6 when its guide was updated; B5 scores should not be treated as B6 results.
LG C6 OLED Viewers who prioritize brighter HDR highlights. Tom’s Guide measured 1,365 nits on a 10% HDR window in its comparison. Its test modes differed between TVs, so this is an indicative review result, not a guaranteed output for every size or setting.
Samsung S90H OLED Bright-room viewers who want stronger reflection handling than the LG C6 offers. Tom’s Guide measured 1,497 nits on a 10% HDR window. RTINGS says the S90H handles reflections better than the LG C6, while the LG is brighter overall. Results depend on the model and room conditions.
Sony BRAVIA 8 II OLED Movie viewers who put Dolby Vision and image processing high on their list. RTINGS identifies it as a notable choice for those priorities. The inspected comparison does not directly measure it against Roku.

The LG B6 is the budget-oriented alternative in this group, but its evidence is less complete: RTINGS had not tested it at the time of its guide update. For a more direct brightness comparison with Roku, the available 2026 Tom’s Guide results cover the LG C6 and Samsung S90H.

How much brighter are the LG C6 and Samsung S90H?

Tom’s Guide’s 2026 comparison measured the following brightness on a 10% test window. These are review measurements, not predictions of how bright every scene or streaming service will appear.

TV 10% HDR brightness 10% SDR brightness
Roku Pro Series OLED 574 nits 331 nits
LG C6 OLED 1,365 nits 360 nits
Samsung S90H OLED 1,497 nits 226 nits

Tom’s Guide tested the Roku in HDR Dark with Display Brightness set to Brighter, while it used Filmmaker mode for the other TVs. The different picture modes limit a direct apples-to-apples reading of the figures. Still, the published HDR results show why viewers who want brighter highlights may prefer the C6 or S90H to Roku. The SDR results do not show the same ordering, so do not use HDR brightness alone to predict everyday SDR viewing.

Room conditions matter too. TechRadar describes Roku’s brightness as limited and notes reflections in bright rooms. RTINGS says the S90H handles reflections better than the C6, though the C6 is brighter overall. If daytime viewing is common, compare the set’s reflection handling and room placement as well as its peak-brightness figures.

What does the LG B6 comparison establish?

TechRadar’s 2026 review provides measurements for Roku and LG B6, including color-gamut coverage and SDR color accuracy. These results apply to that publication’s test methods; they are not a substitute for a direct viewing comparison.

Review measurement Roku Pro OLED LG B6
HDR color gamut, UHDA-P3 / BT.2020 96.2% / 71.1% 97.4% / 72.5%
SDR Delta-E 2.3 1.1

For the Delta-E result, lower is better under TechRadar’s test. Separately, RTINGS’ guide said it had not tested the B6 when updated, so it did not offer B6 test results. Keep those limits in mind rather than transferring scores from the older B5 to the B6.

Which TV makes more sense for streaming?

Choose Roku for its built-in interface

Roku’s clearest streaming-first advantage is Roku OS: the familiar home screen, apps, and Roku’s free live channels are integrated into the TV. That is a practical reason to choose it if you already prefer Roku’s interface and want to avoid relying on a separate streaming device for the basic experience.

Choose by HDR and audio formats you use

Roku officially lists Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HLG, and Dolby Atmos. TechRadar reports that the Roku set lacks DTS support. If you have a sound system or a library of content that depends on a particular audio format, check the full chain—source device, TV, and audio equipment—and verify the exact competing model’s support before buying.

Check size before comparing prices

Roku’s official OLED listing covers 55- and 65-inch models. TechRadar describes the LG B6 range as broader. Confirm the exact size is available for each TV you are considering; a sale price is not a useful comparison if one model does not come in the size you need.

Factor in gaming only if you will use it

The standard Roku OLED has a 120Hz panel and HDMI 2.1 inputs; the LX adds up to 144Hz VRR. TechRadar says the standard Roku lacks a dedicated quick gaming menu. If gaming is part of your setup, compare the exact version’s gaming features rather than assuming every Pro Series OLED model has the LX specification.

How should you compare prices?

Prices and retailer listings change. TechRadar reported 2026 Roku launch prices of $999.99 for the 55-inch model and $1,199.99 for the 65-inch model, and noted discounts during its review period. Those are dated launch and review-period figures, not current price quotes. Check live listings for the precise size and model before deciding which TV is the better value.

How should you care for an OLED TV?

Roku’s support guidance says burn-in can occur if a static image remains on screen for long periods; normal changing content is less concerning. Roku advises against leaving a paused screen or fixed logo up for hours and says its OLED models default to Low Power picture mode, which users can change. These are manufacturer recommendations, not a guarantee that burn-in cannot occur.

Roku also says a background refresh may leave the screen black for about 5–6 minutes after shutdown and advises letting the refresh finish. See Roku’s OLED TV care guidance for its instructions.
