It is made of clear vinyl and has large pockets for shoes, small handbags, belts or craft supplies such as yarn. The listed dimensions are 6 x 12 x 50 inches. The listing does not label which figure is width, depth or height, so treat that size as a seller figure to confirm before you rely on it for a fit. Gano’s Richards collection also includes a 6-shelf organizer, though the listing gives no details for it.

The clear material is the main practical trait. The seller’s copy says it is “Made from clear vinyl for easy viewing,” which describes the product rather than a test result.
Over-the-door shoe organizers and caddies
Nuthouse Hardware’s Richards catalog lists a clear-vinyl 24-pocket over-the-door shoe organizer and a separate 12-pocket shoe caddy. The catalog entries do not state dimensions, door-thickness limits or weight capacity. Shoe racks and hanging shoe organizers also appear in the trademark record, but no individual models are named for them.

Who makes them: the brand history
A 2017 trade article titled “78 years and going strong: The Richards Homewares Story” describes the company’s origins. It says Richards began in Los Angeles in 1939 as Richards Plastic Company, making vinyl head-rest covers for dental chairs. The business later moved into sweater and blanket bags, garment covers, wooden hangers, steel garment racks, wardrobes and canvas garment bags. The article’s “78 years” figure is its own count from the 1939 founding year to its 2017 publication. It also says the name changed in 1989 and that the business moved to Portland in 1994. The article states: “In 1989, after 50 years, the name of the company was changed to Richards Homewares, Inc., which better described the nature of the business Richards had evolved into.”
Because the article dates from 2017, it does not establish the company’s current ownership, location or product range. Treat it as historical background for the brand name, not as proof of what is sold today.
