For a truly continuous prerecorded YouTube channel, Gyre is the closer documented fit: its product page describes looping playlists that restart automatically. Restream is better documented for scheduled, finite rebroadcasts; its looping has a published limit of 10 plays and 40 hours per event, and playlists do not loop natively. Which should you choose?
Choose Gyre for an autonomous 24/7 loop
Gyre’s documented workflow fits a channel whose core need is a continuous sequence of prerecorded videos: upload content, arrange it into a playlist, connect YouTube, schedule the broadcast and start it. Gyre says the playlist restarts automatically. Its cloud setup means the creator’s computer does not need to stay on. Check the current plan for storage, resolution and simultaneous-stream capacity, and confirm price and billing interval at checkout.

Choose Restream for scheduled or finite rebroadcasts
Restream’s prerecorded-event workflow supports scheduling, automatic start and monitoring of the stream and chat while it airs. That suits planned events and finite sessions. For looping, the documented ceiling is 10 plays and 40 hours per event; playlists do not loop automatically. The help page says videos can be duplicated in a playlist, up to its 40-video playlist limit, but that is not the same as an endlessly repeating playlist.

Put the actual operating need first
- For a continuous playlist that should restart on its own, Gyre is the closer documented match.
- For scheduled, finite rebroadcasts, event posts and chat monitoring, Restream’s documented event workflow may fit better.
- If distribution to multiple destinations matters, compare the platforms and concurrent-stream limits available on the current plans. Restream emphasizes multistreaming; Gyre also lists multiple supported platforms. Confirm the exact destinations and plan limits directly before subscribing.

What cloud automation does—and does not—solve
A cloud workflow removes the need to keep a personal computer running the broadcast. It does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, channel growth, watch time, revenue or monetization eligibility. Those depend on the stream, audience, rights and YouTube’s rules. Gyre’s product page includes performance claims about growth, viewing and time savings, but those are vendor claims and are not independently established by the sources cited here.

Before publishing a continuous prerecorded stream, make sure you have the rights to the video, music and other material, and review YouTube’s current copyright and monetization policies. Being listed in YouTube’s encoder directory does not mean a particular channel or video is approved for monetization.
