सबसे पहले dashboard का अपना Export, Download या Print विकल्प देखें। यदि ऐसा विकल्प उपलब्ध नहीं है, तो ब्राउज़र के Print → Save as PDF का उपयोग करें—लेकिन पहले infinite-scroll पेज को नीचे तक लोड करें और तैयार PDF में शुरुआत, बीच और आख़िरी हिस्से की जाँच करें। केवल पेज को नीचे तक scroll करना पूरी जानकारी आने की गारंटी नहीं है: कुछ dashboards छिपी या अभी render न हुई सामग्री export नहीं करते।
पहले तय करें कि आपको किस तरह का PDF चाहिए
एक dashboard को PDF में बदलने के अलग-अलग तरीके अलग परिणाम देते हैं। अपना उद्देश्य चुनने से अधूरी export या गलत format से बचा जा सकता है।

बिना code के PDF export करने के चरण
- Dashboard और scope चुनें: सही dashboard खोलें, आवश्यक tab चुनें, और filters तथा date range सेट करें। Export से पहले इन्हें दोबारा जाँचें।
- पहले native export खोजें: Export, Download या Print जैसे विकल्प देखें। PDF उपलब्ध हो तो export dialog में paper size, orientation, scale और filters/parameters जैसी settings चुनें। अगर आपको सभी tabs चाहिए, तो देखें कि क्या हर tab अलग से export करना होगा।
- Infinite-scroll सामग्री लोड करें: यदि built-in export नहीं है, तो पेज में नीचे की ओर धीरे-धीरे scroll करें। हर नए हिस्से को आने दें और Load more दिखे तो उसे दबाते रहें। कोई loading indicator अभी सक्रिय हो तो उसके समाप्त होने की प्रतीक्षा करें।
- Browser से PDF सेव करें: ब्राउज़र के print dialog में Save as PDF चुनें। चौड़ी table कट रही हो तो landscape orientation या उपयुक्त paper size आज़माएँ; उपलब्ध print settings ब्राउज़र के अनुसार बदल सकती हैं।
- PDF में completeness जाँचें: सेव की हुई फ़ाइल खोलकर पहला, बीच का और आख़िरी हिस्सा देखें। जहाँ संभव हो, PDF में मौजूद rows की संख्या या visible date range को dashboard से मिलाएँ। सफल download का संदेश अपने-आप यह साबित नहीं करता कि सभी records शामिल हुए।
यह सामान्य workflow है, किसी खास app या browser पर परीक्षण का दावा नहीं। SAP Analytics Cloud की PDF export documentation बताती है कि invisible scrollable content और lazy-rendered या lazy-loaded widgets/data export में शामिल नहीं हो सकते। SAP Analytics Cloud PDF export की सीमाएँ देखें।
क्यों scroll करना भी पूरी export की गारंटी नहीं है
Infinite scroll में नया हिस्सा तभी आ सकता है जब आप नीचे पहुँचें। इसलिए export से पहले scroll करना उन हिस्सों को लोड करने में मदद कर सकता है जिन्हें app सामान्य तौर पर क्रमशः दिखाता है। मगर PDF exporter और dashboard की rendering का व्यवहार निर्णायक है।

- छिपी सामग्री: कुछ exporters केवल दिखाई देने वाला या printable क्षेत्र लेते हैं; scrollable container के बाहर की सामग्री छूट सकती है। Zendesk अपनी guidance में कहता है कि horizontal या vertical scrollbars के पीछे छिपी जानकारी export नहीं होगी। यह Zendesk के निर्देशों का दायरा है, सभी apps के लिए सार्वभौमिक नियम नहीं।
- Lazy loading: Widgets या data बाद में render होते हों तो बहुत जल्दी export करने पर वे PDF में न आएँ।
- Virtualized tables: कुछ tables DOM में केवल viewport के आसपास की rows रखती हैं। ऐसे implementation में नीचे scroll करने के बाद भी browser print में पूरी table आने की गारंटी नहीं है।
- Tabs और filters: अलग-अलग tabs को अलग export करना पड़ सकता है। Built-in exporter filters या parameters को शामिल करने देता है या नहीं, यह उसकी settings पर निर्भर है।
यदि completeness महत्वपूर्ण है—जैसे रिपोर्ट की समीक्षा या रिकॉर्ड रखने के लिए—तो PDF को मूल dashboard या उपलब्ध CSV/Excel export से मिलाएँ। App का documentation न बताए कि scroll-loaded records PDF में शामिल होते हैं या नहीं, तो support से पूछें कि पूरी रिपोर्ट के लिए कौन-सा export तरीका समर्थित है।
PDF बनाम CSV या Excel: कौन-सा चुनें?
PDF तब चुनें जब आपको dashboard का पढ़ने योग्य दृश्य रिकॉर्ड चाहिए। यदि rows, values या data को sort, filter या आगे विश्लेषित करना है, तो उपलब्ध होने पर CSV/Excel export चुनें। DevExpress Web Dashboard, उदाहरण के लिए, dashboard/item को PDF या image में और item data को Excel/CSV में export करने के विकल्प दस्तावेज़ करता है; आपके app में उपलब्ध formats अलग हो सकते हैं।

यदि आप dashboard बनाते या चलाते हैं
सबसे भरोसेमंद उपाय अक्सर browser print पर निर्भर रहने के बजाय app में समर्पित export flow बनाना है। Export से पहले data और widgets के तैयार होने की पुष्टि करें; print layout में navigation, sidebar और buttons छिपाएँ; और dashboard की ऊँचाई को केवल scrollable viewport तक सीमित न रखें। सही तरीका आपके framework और dashboard implementation पर निर्भर करेगा।
Render पूरा होने के बाद print शुरू करें

Server-side export पर विचार करें
यदि आपको नियंत्रित और दोहराने योग्य export चाहिए, तो dashboard product की server-side सुविधा देखें। DevExpress non-visual DashboardExporter को UI control के बिना export service बनाने के लिए दस्तावेज़ करता है। KX Dashboards का PDF server Puppeteer पर आधारित है; उसके docs कहते हैं कि PDF केवल printable/viewable area लेता है और dashboard screen से नीचे जाता हो तो Fill Height setting मदद कर सकती है। अपने इस्तेमाल किए जा रहे product और version के docs में व्यवहार की पुष्टि करें।
