Xiaomi specifies a 6200mAh typical silicon-carbon battery and 90W charging for the Note 14 Pro+, with a 90W charger in the box. The Note 15 SE is listed with a 5800mAh battery and 45W charging. These are capacity and rated charging specifications—not measured battery endurance or a tested time to recharge. Actual results depend on usage, settings and charging conditions.

Since that page contains inconsistent wording, confirm the exact rating for the model sold in your region rather than assuming one rating applies across every listing or variant.
Update commitments
Xiaomi states “3+4 years SW updates” for the Note 14 Pro+ and identifies Android 14 with HyperOS. For the Note 15 SE, Xiaomi states four years of OS updates plus six years of security patches. These are not identical formulations: one is a broad software-update statement, while the other separates OS upgrades from security patches. Compare them in Xiaomi’s own terms rather than treating them as a directly equivalent promise.

Xiaomi India’s official store search result displayed the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ at ₹28,999 and the Redmi Note 15 SE from ₹25,999, a displayed difference of ₹3,000. The same result showed ₹34,999 as the marketing price for each model. These are observed listing prices, not guaranteed current checkout prices; offers, inventory and variant availability can change. Check Xiaomi India’s store and compare the same storage tier before buying. The Note 15 SE’s exact currently sold storage SKU should be verified rather than inferred from its marketing copy.
Which one should you choose?
- Pick the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G if you value the higher-tier listed chipset, dedicated telephoto and ultrawide modules, higher stated battery capacity, 90W rated charging, or the stated IP68 rating.
- Consider the Redmi Note 15 SE 5G if its lower observed listing price holds for the storage variant you want, you prefer its larger listed screen, or Xiaomi’s separately stated OS and security support terms better fit your priorities.
