How do the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G and realme P4x 5G compare?
The comparison below uses Xiaomi’s India specifications for the Redmi and secondary comparison listings for the P4x. The Redmi Note 14 Pro name can refer to different regional versions, so these details specifically concern the India-market 5G model.

Which display is better for your use?
The Redmi’s 1.5K AMOLED panel has the higher listed resolution and supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. The P4x has a slightly larger LCD and a higher stated maximum refresh rate: 144Hz versus 120Hz. Those figures describe different aspects of the display; refresh rate alone does not establish which screen looks better overall.
Choose based on what matters to you: the Redmi’s display technology and resolution, or the P4x’s higher listed refresh rate and larger screen. Viewing experience also depends on brightness, calibration and content, which these specification listings do not compare in controlled testing.

Does the P4x’s larger battery mean longer battery life?
The P4x is listed at 7000mAh, compared with Xiaomi’s typical 5500mAh figure for the Redmi. Both are listed with 45W charging, and Xiaomi says the Redmi’s 45W adapter is included in the box. Battery capacity is not the same as measured runtime: no controlled test of both phones under matching conditions is established here, so the capacity figures alone cannot confirm how many hours either will last.
Which phone has the stronger camera setup?
On the listed hardware, the Redmi offers more rear-camera types: a main camera, ultrawide and macro, compared with the P4x’s listed 50MP and 2MP rear cameras. Its listed front camera is also 20MP, against 8MP for the P4x. That makes the Redmi’s camera array more versatile on paper, but megapixel counts and camera quantity do not establish photo or video quality. Look for comparable image samples if camera performance is a deciding factor.

What do the processor and memory specifications tell you?
Xiaomi lists a Dimensity 7300-Ultra built on a 4nm process, with 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage for the Redmi. Gadgets 360 lists a Dimensity 7400 Ultra for the P4x, with 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB configurations; Smartprix’s comparison row shows 6GB/128GB. The available listings therefore do not show the same configuration consistently. Confirm the specific RAM and storage variant offered by the seller before comparing prices. Processor model names by themselves do not prove which phone is faster in everyday use or gaming.

Xiaomi lists the Redmi at 190g with IP68 protection and Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Smartprix lists the P4x at 208g with an IP64 rating. These protection ratings and materials are manufacturer or comparison specifications, not a reason to expose either phone deliberately to water or dust.

For software, Xiaomi’s India page specifies Android 14 with HyperOS and “3+4 years SW updates.” Smartprix lists the P4x with Android v15 and two years of OS updates plus three years of security updates, while Gadgets 360 names realme UI 6.0 but does not give an Android version. Since listings differ and update policies can change, confirm the current policy with the manufacturer for your region and exact model.
What is the price difference?
Smartprix’s comparison page, marked last updated September 18, 2026, listed the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G at ₹21,999 and the realme P4x 5G at ₹21,939—a ₹60 difference in that snapshot. These are third-party listed prices, not guaranteed current official prices or verified offers. Before buying, compare the live price for the same RAM and storage configuration, then check seller, offer conditions and warranty.

Which one should you buy?
Choose the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G if
- You want the higher-resolution AMOLED display with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.
- You value a listed ultrawide camera in addition to the main and macro cameras.
- The listed IP68 rating, Gorilla Glass Victus 2 or lower listed weight matters to you.
Consider the realme P4x 5G if
- You prioritize its larger listed 7000mAh battery capacity.
- You prefer a 144Hz maximum refresh rate and a slightly larger display, accepting LCD technology and lower listed resolution.
- You find a suitable RAM/storage configuration at a better live price.
There is no specification-based universal winner: the Redmi leans toward display resolution and camera versatility, while the P4x emphasizes battery capacity and refresh rate. Since the dated listed prices were nearly identical, use current prices for matching configurations and your own priorities to make the final call.
