Short answer: the realme P3 5G is the practical value choice if you want a large 6.67-inch AMOLED display, microSD expansion and a lower-cost performance tier. The vivo X300 FE is the more capable compact phone, with a 3nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 platform, a three-camera system with telephoto, faster charging, wireless-charging support and IP68/IP69 protection. vivo has published India launch prices, but an exact current rupee gap cannot be stated without checking live retailer pages because a verified current P3 price is not available.
realme P3 vs vivo X300 FE: the decision in one minute
These phones target different buyers rather than competing as equal-price alternatives. The realme P3 5G emphasizes screen area, battery capacity and expandable storage. The vivo X300 FE emphasizes compact handling, flagship-level silicon, camera versatility and charging speed.

- Pick realme P3 5G for a 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED panel, a shared SIM/microSD slot, 6000mAh typical capacity and a value-oriented purchase.
- Pick vivo X300 FE for a smaller 6.31-inch body, Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 performance, a stabilized 50MP telephoto camera, 90W wired charging, claimed 40W wireless charging and IP68/IP69 ratings.
- Do not use the launch prices as today’s price difference. vivo announced ₹79,999 for 12GB+256GB and ₹89,999 for 12GB+512GB on May 6, 2026, with sales from May 14. Those are historical launch terms. The current P3 price is not verified here.

Price difference in India
What vivo has officially announced
vivo’s India launch announcement dated May 6, 2026 lists the X300 FE at ₹79,999 for 12GB+256GB and ₹89,999 for 12GB+512GB. Availability was scheduled from May 14, 2026 through Amazon, Flipkart, vivo’s e-store and retail partners. These figures are launch prices, not a guarantee of the October 2026 checkout price or of current stock.
The two X300 FE launch configurations were separated by ₹10,000. That extra amount buys double the storage, from 256GB to 512GB, while the listed RAM remains 12GB. It is not a like-for-like comparison with a P3 unless you first confirm which P3 storage version and which X300 FE version you would actually purchase.
Why an exact P3-versus-X300 FE gap is not reliable here
No current official realme P3 retail price was verified alongside those vivo launch figures. Comparison-site snapshots can become stale, omit bank eligibility or mix storage variants, so they should not be presented as today’s price. For a fair purchase decision, open the same-day India retailer pages, select matching storage capacities, and compare the final checkout totals after any clearly stated bank or exchange offer.
How to calculate the live difference
- Choose the P3 capacity you would actually buy: 128GB or 256GB.
- Choose the matching X300 FE tier: 256GB or 512GB.
- Record each phone’s selling price on the same date and from the same type of seller.
- Subtract the lower checkout price from the higher one.
- List bank discounts, exchange credits, bundled accessories and eligibility separately; do not treat a conditional offer as the standard price.
Also check whether the listing is for an India model, whether a charger is included, and whether the seller is an authorized retailer. A low headline price can reflect an exchange condition, a limited bank promotion or a different storage variant.
Display and everyday handling
realme P3: more room for games and video
The P3’s 6.67-inch AMOLED panel runs at up to 120Hz and lists 1080×2400 resolution. Its larger physical area suits split-screen work, streaming and games where a wider view matters. realme also advertises a 2000-nit peak figure. That is a specification claim, not an independent sunlight legibility test.
The P3 is also about 12.3mm taller and 3.9mm wider than the X300 FE on the listed dimensions. That extra footprint can make virtual controls and on-screen keyboards more comfortable, but it can also make pockets, cases and one-handed reach less convenient.
vivo X300 FE: smaller, sharper and easier to hold
The X300 FE uses a 6.31-inch AMOLED display at 2640×1216 and 120Hz. Its higher listed resolution should render fine text and detailed images more densely on the smaller panel, while the shorter 150.83mm height and 71.76mm width make one-handed reach easier than on the P3. The 191g listed weight is only about 3g lower than the P3’s approximately 194g, so the main handling difference comes from the smaller outline rather than a dramatic weight reduction. vivo lists a 5000-nit local peak; its release says the number comes from internal laboratory testing and that conditions affect results.
Both phones list AMOLED and 120Hz, so scrolling should be smooth when software and apps use the high-refresh mode. The practical choice is size: P3 for immersion and keyboard space, X300 FE for compact handling. Neither brightness number alone proves superior outdoor visibility, and refresh rate does not guarantee that every game runs at 120 frames per second.
Performance and software
Different Snapdragon tiers
The P3’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 is a 4nm platform with a listed maximum clock of 2.3GHz. The X300 FE’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 is a 3nm octa-core platform positioned substantially higher in Qualcomm’s range. That makes the vivo the logical choice for demanding 3D games, sustained multitasking, faster image processing and longer headroom as apps become heavier.
No controlled benchmark or matched gameplay result is established here, so it would be inaccurate to assign a percentage speed advantage or promise a particular frame rate. realme’s India page promotes 90fps BGMI support but notes that availability depends on a future game update; do not interpret that note as proof that the P3 currently sustains 90fps in every version or setting.
For ordinary tasks such as messaging, web browsing, navigation and video streaming, both phones have specifications that can handle the workload, but the higher-tier vivo platform offers more margin for demanding apps. More performance can also matter if you plan to keep the phone for several years, although actual longevity depends on software updates, thermals and app requirements.

realme lists realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15. vivo lists OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. Version numbers indicate the software generation shipped or specified by each manufacturer; update timing, support duration and regional features should be confirmed on the relevant India support pages before purchase.
Camera hardware and what it means
realme P3: a straightforward rear camera
The P3 lists one 50MP rear main camera. That can cover everyday photos, documents and social posts, but the specification does not establish low-light quality, autofocus behavior, stabilization, video limits or image-processing consistency. The exact front-camera specification should be checked on realme’s regional product page before ordering.
vivo X300 FE: three focal lengths
The X300 FE lists a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization, a 50MP telephoto camera with OIS and an 8MP wide-angle camera. This gives you a native main view, a longer portrait or subject view and a wider perspective without relying entirely on digital cropping. It also lists a 50MP autofocus front camera.

The telephoto is the clearest hardware distinction for portraits, distant subjects and framing without moving closer. OIS can help reduce hand movement in still photos and video, but it does not guarantee sharper results in every scene. The 8MP ultrawide adds a perspective the single-camera P3 does not list.
More lenses and OIS improve flexibility on paper, but megapixel counts do not establish image superiority. Camera quality still depends on sensors, lenses, processing, focus behavior and video implementation, none of which are independently measured in the available evidence.
Optional telephoto accessory
vivo announced a ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 at ₹15,999 at launch. The extender is separate from the standard phone, requires the accompanying accessories kit, is compatible only with the vivo X300 FE and was offered through select retailers. vivo describes a 200mm-equivalent focal length. Treat both price and availability as historical and verify them before buying. It is relevant only if long-reach photography is a specific priority; most buyers should first evaluate the phone’s built-in cameras.
Battery, charging and durability
Capacity versus real endurance
realme rates the P3 at 6000mAh typical capacity and 5860mAh minimum, with 45W charging. vivo rates the X300 FE at 6500mAh typical and 6350mAh minimum, with 90W FlashCharge. The vivo release additionally states support for 40W wireless charging.
The vivo therefore has the larger listed battery and twice the wired charging wattage, but those figures do not translate directly into a runtime or charging-time guarantee. Charger temperature, cable and adapter compatibility, charging limits and the phone’s software profile all affect results. Confirm what is included in the retail box rather than assuming that every advertised charging mode comes with an adapter.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsThe larger rated capacity does not prove that the X300 FE lasts longer. Screen size, chipset behavior, radio conditions, refresh-rate settings, camera use and software optimization all affect endurance. A matched test using the same brightness, network and apps is required for a runtime verdict.
Water and dust ratings
realme promotes IP69 protection for the P3 on its India product page. vivo lists both IP68 and IP69 for the X300 FE. These are product ratings under specified laboratory conditions; they are not permission to charge a wet phone, expose it to salt water or assume that liquid damage is covered by warranty. Keep ports dry and follow each manufacturer’s care instructions.
Storage, SIM use and physical size
The P3 is available in 128GB and 256GB configurations and uses a shared slot that accepts one SIM plus one microSD card. That flexibility helps buyers who store games, video or music locally, but adding a card means giving up the second SIM position. Check the supported card type and whether the listing is single-SIM or dual-SIM before ordering.
The X300 FE comes in 256GB and 512GB configurations and does not list expandable ROM. Choose capacity at purchase because later expansion is not available. Its 150.83 × 71.76mm body is much shorter and narrower than the P3’s 163.15 × 75.65mm chassis, while thickness is almost identical at about 8mm.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →For buyers who keep large offline video libraries or many games, the X300 FE’s 512GB option avoids carrying a card, while the P3’s microSD slot can reduce the initial storage cost if you accept the shared-SIM compromise. App performance and camera storage behavior can vary by card, so internal storage remains preferable for frequently used apps.
Which phone fits each buyer?
Choose the realme P3 when these priorities dominate
- You want the largest screen for streaming, reading or gaming.
- You need microSD support or want to start with 128GB and expand later.
- Your workload is social apps, video, navigation and mainstream games rather than sustained flagship gaming.
- You prefer to spend at the lower end of the market, subject to checking the current India price.
- A 6000mAh rating and 45W charging meet your expectations.
- You are comfortable using a larger, wider phone that weighs approximately 194g.
Choose the vivo X300 FE when these priorities dominate
- You prefer a compact 6.31-inch phone that is easier to use one-handed.
- You want the higher-tier Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 platform for demanding apps and games.
- You need a dedicated telephoto and ultrawide camera rather than a single rear camera.
- You value 90W wired charging, stated 40W wireless support and a 6500mAh typical rating.
- You want the stronger listed protection combination of IP68 and IP69.
- You can buy enough built-in storage because microSD expansion is not listed.
- You want a high-resolution compact display and a 50MP autofocus selfie camera.
A fair buying checklist
- Verify the exact variant. Confirm RAM, storage, charger inclusion and regional model number on the India listing.
- Check the final price. Compare same-day checkout totals, not launch announcements or cached comparison pages.
- Decide on size first. Hold or measure a 6.67-inch and 6.31-inch phone; this choice affects comfort every day.
- Match storage to your habits. Pick the P3 if removable expansion matters; pick 256GB or 512GB X300 FE storage up front if it does not.
- Set performance expectations. Treat chipset positioning as an indicator, not as a benchmark result.
- Check camera needs. Select the vivo for native telephoto and ultrawide options; do not infer image quality from megapixels alone.
- Review warranty and liquid-damage terms. IP ratings do not override the manufacturer’s exclusions or care requirements.
- Check network and accessory compatibility. Confirm the India model, supported bands, charging accessories and any bundled case or kit on the seller page.

Which has better battery life? Neither can be declared the winner from capacity alone. The P3 lists 6000mAh typical and the X300 FE 6500mAh typical, but runtime requires matched testing.
Which charges faster? The X300 FE lists 90W wired charging versus 45W on the P3, and vivo’s release also states 40W wireless-charging support.
Is the X300 FE telephoto accessory included? No. The ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 was announced separately at ₹15,999 at launch, requires its accessories kit and is compatible only with the X300 FE.
What is the current price difference? It cannot be stated reliably here because the verified P3 price is missing and vivo’s ₹79,999/₹89,999 figures are launch prices. Check same-day India retailer checkout totals for equivalent storage.
Bottom line: is the X300 FE premium justified?
The premium can be justified when you will use the X300 FE’s compact design, higher-tier chipset, telephoto camera, faster charging or wireless charging. The P3 is the more sensible value design when a large 120Hz AMOLED screen and microSD support matter more than flagship performance and camera versatility. Because the verified P3 price and a live X300 FE discount are missing, make the final value judgment only after checking current India retailer prices for equivalent storage.
