On the specifications listed by 91mobiles, the Redmi Note 17 5G has the sharper OLED display, larger battery, and more RAM in the compared configurations; the realme 16x 5G has the higher stated refresh rate. The same 91mobiles snapshot lists the Redmi ₹1,000 cheaper, but other comparison pages show different prices or configurations, so that is not a dependable current price gap. The exact models and variants still need confirmation against official or retailer listings.
How the listed specifications compare
The table reflects the configurations and figures shown by 91mobiles, a third-party comparison publisher. They are listed specifications, not independently verified test results or manufacturer-confirmed details.

Which display is the better fit?
The Redmi’s listed OLED panel has the higher resolution, which means more pixels for text and images on a screen of similar size. The realme listing has a 144 Hz refresh rate compared with 120 Hz for the Redmi, a potential advantage for smoother scrolling or supported content. Refresh rate alone does not establish overall display quality, and these figures do not confirm how either screen looks in use.

What the battery figures do—and do not—tell you
91mobiles lists an 8,000 mAh battery for the Redmi and 7,000 mAh for the realme, with 45 W charging for both. The Redmi therefore has the larger stated capacity, but capacity alone cannot establish which phone lasts longer: actual endurance depends on factors such as the display, processor, software, signal conditions, and workload. The listed charging wattage likewise does not establish charging time.
Performance depends on the exact configuration
The displayed 91mobiles comparison pairs the Dimensity 6300 with 4 GB RAM in the realme and the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 with 6 GB RAM in the Redmi; both are shown with 128 GB storage. Those are configuration listings, not proof that one phone is faster. The comparison sources provide no verified independent benchmark that supports a definitive performance verdict, and other listings show different RAM or storage variants. Check the exact variant offered in your market before comparing prices.

Camera specifications are not camera-quality evidence
91mobiles lists a 50 MP main rear camera and an 8 MP front camera for each phone. Matching megapixel counts do not show that the cameras produce equivalent photos or video. The comparison pages cited here do not establish image quality, video capabilities, or a camera winner.
How to interpret the price difference
On the 91mobiles page, the listed prices are ₹28,999 for the realme and ₹27,999 for the Redmi—a ₹1,000 difference in that page’s snapshot. Smartprix and Gadgets Now display differing prices or configurations, so the 91mobiles figures should not be treated as current checkout prices or as a verified like-for-like gap.

For a meaningful comparison in India, check the same day and compare equivalent RAM and storage variants, seller, availability, and final checkout price. Also confirm warranty terms and software-update commitments from a manufacturer or authorized retailer. The available comparison pages do not confirm those details or establish that both named models and configurations are official products in the market you are shopping.

Which one should you choose?
- Consider the Redmi listing if its higher-resolution OLED display, larger stated battery, and 6 GB RAM configuration match your priorities—and if you can confirm that exact model and variant is available at the price shown to you.
- Consider the realme listing if the higher stated 144 Hz refresh rate is more important to you than the Redmi listing’s resolution and panel type, and the 4 GB RAM configuration suits your needs.
- Wait to compare or verify both if your decision depends on camera results, measured battery life, tested performance, current prices, or software support. The cited comparison pages do not establish those points.
