On listed specifications, the realme 15 Pro 5G leads on display refresh rate, front-camera resolution, and wired charging wattage. The OnePlus N6 5G has the larger rated battery and the lower displayed price: ₹24,999 against ₹34,799 for the realme on a comparison listing captured in early October 2026, a gap of ₹9,800. Neither phone has a measured, matched-condition winner in the evidence available, so the choice depends on which of these trade-offs you care about most.

Display: a clear spec edge for realme

The realme 15 Pro 5G has the stronger stated display specification. Its India page promotes a 144 Hz curved display, while OnePlus specifies 120 Hz for the N6. The comparison page lists 1280 × 2800 for the realme and 720 × 1570 for the N6. A higher refresh rate makes scrolling and animations look smoother, but it does not guarantee better panel brightness, colour accuracy, or outdoor readability, and none of those were measured in a controlled comparison.

The resolution figures come only from the comparison listing. Check them against the phone’s settings screen after purchase, or against a full review that measures the panel.

Battery and charging: bigger tank versus faster filling

The N6 has the larger nominal battery. OnePlus states 8000 mAh typical and 7780 mAh rated, while realme lists 7000 mAh. The realme, however, charges faster on paper, with an 80 W rating against OnePlus’s 45 W SuperVOOC.

Neither figure settles the question of real-world endurance. Battery life depends on screen settings, network conditions, and workload. Charging speed depends on the charger and cable you use, and a higher wattage rating does not by itself shorten time to full charge in every case.

OnePlus markets the N6’s battery with the phrase “8000mAh for 3 days” and calls it “Segment’s Biggest Battery.” The company says these claims are based on OnePlus Test Lab results and that actual experience varies. Its page also qualifies the segment claim as of the June 30, 2026 launch date, within the ₹15,000–₹20,000 smartphone segment in India. Treat these as the company’s own claims, not independently verified facts.

Cameras: megapixels do not settle image quality

realme promotes three 50 MP cameras, including the front and ultra-wide lenses, and 4K recording at 60 fps across its lenses. OnePlus lists a 50 MP main camera and an 8 MP front camera. OnePlus also says 60 fps video recording is available only on the 6 GB + 128 GB version of the N6, so the advertised video specification depends on which variant you buy.

On paper, realme offers more camera hardware and a higher front-camera resolution. That does not establish which phone produces better photos, because sensor size, processing, and lens quality are not captured by megapixel counts. Compare sample photos from independent reviews before deciding on camera quality.

Performance and software

The two phones use different platforms: Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 on the realme and Dimensity 6360 Apex on the N6. No matched, independently controlled benchmark or endurance test was found for these two models, so this article does not declare a speed winner. Benchmark numbers that appear on comparison sites should be read as secondary data, not as a head-to-head result.

On software, the realme comparison listing shows Android 15 with Realme UI, and OnePlus’s page names OxygenOS 16. Software update duration is a separate question. The price difference: what ₹9,800 means

The comparison page displayed ₹34,799 at Amazon for the realme 15 Pro 5G and ₹24,999 at Amazon for the OnePlus N6 5G. That is a gap of ₹9,800, and the realme’s displayed price is roughly 39% higher than the N6’s. This is a single snapshot from early October 2026 taken from a third-party page. It is not an official MRP, a live checkout price, or a guaranteed offer.

  • Up to 29 hours video playback. USB-C, Supports USB 3 for up to 20x faster transfers. Face ID

Before comparing prices, confirm three things on the seller’s page:

  • The exact RAM and storage variant. The N6’s 60 fps video, for example, applies only to the 6 GB + 128 GB version, and the listed price may not refer to the same configuration as the one you are checking.
  • The seller and whether the listing is fulfilled by Amazon or by a third-party seller.
  • Bank, exchange, or launch discounts, which can change the final amount paid.

The realme 15 Pro 5G was launched in July 2025, which means its listing price reflects a phone that is now more than a year old. The N6 launched on 30 June 2026. Newer launches are not always cheaper later, but the age gap is part of why the displayed price difference should be read cautiously.

Which phone fits which buyer

  • Choose the realme 15 Pro 5G if a higher refresh-rate display, 80 W wired charging, and stronger front-camera specifications matter more to you than the lower price.
  • Choose the OnePlus N6 5G if battery capacity and the lower displayed price are your main priorities, and you are comfortable with 45 W charging and a 720 × 1570 display on the comparison listing.
  • Hold off on either if you need a guaranteed update period or a verified camera or endurance result. Neither question is answered by the specification sheets.

Before you buy

  • Confirm the current price, RAM and storage variant, and seller on the retailer’s own page.
  • Check the manufacturer’s official update policy for each model.
  • Read at least one independent review that measures battery life and camera output under the same conditions for both phones.
  • If you choose the N6, OnePlus lists N6 Care, extended warranty, screen protection, and accidental-damage protection plans on its protection service page. Confirm the plan terms and price there before buying.
