At India’s December 2022 launch, the realme 10 Pro Plus 5G cost ₹6,000 more than the realme 10 Pro 5G at matching RAM and storage. For that money, the Plus offers a curved AMOLED display, a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset, and 67W charging instead of 33W. Both phones list the same 5000mAh typical battery and the same 108MP main camera, so those two numbers do not separate them.
This comparison covers the launch prices, the official specifications, and what each difference means in practice. The prices are historical. We have not verified current retail prices, stock, or warranty terms for either phone, so check live listings before you buy.

India launch prices (December 2022)
realme announced both phones in India on December 8, 2022. These are manufacturer retail prices (MOP) from that announcement:

Sales began on December 14, 2022 for the Pro+ and December 16, 2022 for the Pro. Both bank offers were introductory and tied to that launch period.

The Pro+ was also announced with an 8GB RAM / 256GB option at ₹27,999. Compare it only with a 256GB Pro, which was not part of the figures above. Comparing it with a 128GB Pro would overstate the gap, because the extra storage accounts for part of the price difference.
Current prices and availability
Resale and marketplace prices move constantly, and the sources available for this comparison did not establish reliable current prices, sellers, or stock for either phone in a defined market. Before you buy, confirm three things on the listing: the exact RAM and storage, whether the unit is new or used, and whether it is the India model with warranty.

Brightness figures come from different source descriptions and should not be compared as if measured the same way. The same applies to thickness and weight, which vary by color and region.
What the differences mean in practice
Display: curved AMOLED versus flat panel
The Pro+ is the only one of the two with a curved AMOLED screen, and that is its most visible hardware change. Curved edges look different in the hand and in a case, and some buyers find them more prone to accidental touches. The Pro’s flat screen avoids that trade-off. realme’s specifications do not establish how the two screens compare in real brightness, color accuracy, or viewing in sunlight, so those comparisons need independent testing.
The India Pro page also promotes 2160Hz PWM dimming and display certifications. These are manufacturer claims. Treat them as product information rather than verified results.

Charging: 33W versus 67W
The Pro+ supports up to 67W SUPERVOOC charging, and the Pro supports 33W. Both list a 5000mAh typical battery, so the faster charger does not mean a bigger battery. It means the Pro+ can take on charge faster under the right conditions. Actual charging time depends on the charger you use, the cable, the software, and the phone’s temperature while charging.
Processor: Snapdragon 695 versus Dimensity 1080
The Pro uses a Snapdragon 695 5G, and the Pro+ uses a Dimensity 1080 5G. The Pro+ has the higher advertised clock speed, at 2.6GHz versus 2.2GHz. Clock speed alone does not decide everyday speed or gaming performance, so this article does not declare a winner on that basis.
Camera: same 108MP main sensor
Both phones advertise a 108MP ProLight main camera. A higher megapixel count does not prove better photos, because the sensor, processing, and lens also matter. The specification pages do not include controlled sample photos, so this article makes no claim about which phone takes better pictures.

Battery: same typical capacity
The two batteries are listed at the same 5000mAh typical capacity. The Pro+ has a slightly higher minimum rating (4890mAh versus 4870mAh rated for the Pro), but that small difference is not a meaningful endurance gap. Real battery life depends on usage, screen settings, and network conditions, and none of these phones were tested for endurance here.
Body and weight
The Pro+ is listed as thinner (7.78mm on the global page) and lighter (172.5g) than the Pro, which is listed at 8.1mm or 8.3mm and about 190–192g depending on color. If you carry the phone in a pocket all day, these differences are noticeable, but the exact figures depend on color and region.

realme published AnTuTu scores for the Pro+. Its India press announcement cites 520,000, and its global Pro+ page cites 528,313. These are two different manufacturer claims, and the sources do not show that both used the same test method. No Pro benchmark score is given in the same material, and no independent test compares these two phones with the same method. Do not use these numbers to say the Pro+ is faster than the Pro.

Software and buying checks
Both phones launched with realme UI 4.0 based on Android 13. This is the launch software only. Whether either phone still receives updates today is not established here, so check realme’s current support information for your region before you buy.
Before you buy either phone, check the following:
- Confirm the exact RAM and storage. A 128GB Pro and a 256GB Pro+ are not equivalent purchases.
- Confirm the region. Box contents, charger wattage, and the phone’s software support can differ between India and other markets.
- Confirm the condition. A used or refurbished unit may have a different warranty status from a new one.
- Confirm the charger. The Pro+ supports 67W, but the regional box may include a different adapter than the one on the global page. A charger rated lower than 67W will limit the Pro+’s charging speed.
- If you plan to buy a case or screen protector, match the model. The Pro+ has a curved screen and the Pro has a flat screen, so a case or protector made for one will not reliably fit the other.
Which phone fits which buyer
- Choose the Pro+ if you want a curved AMOLED display, faster charging, and the Dimensity 1080 platform, and you can pay the extra launch difference or find a current price that is close to it.
- Choose the Pro if you prefer a flat screen, plan to use the phone for its 33W charging, and want to save the extra cost of the Pro+.
- Do not choose based on battery capacity or main camera megapixels alone, because the two phones share both on paper.

The Bottom Line
For most buyers, the decision comes down to whether the Pro+’s curved AMOLED screen, 67W charging, and Dimensity 1080 justify its launch premium of ₹6,000 over the Pro at matching RAM and storage. If the price gap has narrowed in your market and you want faster charging and a more distinctive screen, the Pro+ makes the stronger case. If you prefer a flat display and do not need fast charging, the Pro is the lower-cost choice. Confirm current prices, storage, and warranty before deciding, because the launch figures above are from December 2022.
