The Razer Basilisk V4 Pro connects over HyperSpeed Wireless Gen-2, Bluetooth 6.2, or wired USB. You can pair it with Razer’s Mouse Dock V2 Pro or HyperFlux V2 for wireless charging, and use Razer Synapse to remap controls, adjust DPI, and customize lighting. Here are the practical details, with battery-life figures identified as Razer’s claims.
What devices and connection types does the Basilisk V4 Pro support?
Razer lists three ways to connect the mouse: HyperSpeed Wireless Gen-2, Bluetooth 6.2, and wired USB. Its product information describes support for up to five devices across these connection options, including up to three paired Bluetooth devices. That does not mean five host devices are active at once; the mouse switches among supported connections. For the exact pairing and switching controls, follow the current manual for your model and region.

For a charging dock, Razer’s Mouse Dock V2 Pro compatibility list explicitly includes the Basilisk V4 Pro. The dock also supports certain listed HyperSpeed Wireless Gen-1 mice, which operate at Gen-1 latency levels. Do not assume every Razer wireless mouse is compatible; check the current compatibility list for another model.

How do you charge the Basilisk V4 Pro?
The mouse can be charged by wired USB. For wireless charging, Razer says you need a compatible separately purchased charging solution: the Mouse Dock V2 Pro, which includes a charging puck, or the Razer HyperFlux V2 system. Remove the mouse’s cover puck, replace it with the charging puck, and use the compatible charging setup. Check the specific regional product listing for package contents, since accessories are sold separately and bundles can vary.
Choosing between the two wireless charging options
| Option | Best fit | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Mouse Dock V2 Pro | A desk-dock setup; it is the option for readers who also want the dock’s transceiver and multi-device functions. | Razer’s compatibility list names the Basilisk V4 Pro. Confirm the current listing’s included puck and any other package contents. |
| HyperFlux V2 | A mat-based wireless power setup. | Confirm the regional package and required charging components before buying. |
