Meta named actor Ranveer Singh the first India brand ambassador for Ray-Ban and Ray-Ban Meta on October 1, 2026. The appointment launches the “Frame Your True Self” campaign, spanning conventional eyewear and smart glasses.

Meta’s announcement presents the partnership as an association with both Ray-Ban’s eyewear brand and Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses. It is an ambassador appointment and campaign launch—not, by itself, a product launch.

What is “Frame Your True Self”?
“Frame Your True Self” is the campaign launched with Singh’s appointment. Moneycontrol reported that campaign products include conventional Ray-Ban Bill Max, Mega Wayfarer II and CTX oval frames, as well as Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer, Aviator and Blayzer Optics Gen 2 models. Those specific product inclusions were reported by Moneycontrol, rather than itemized in Meta’s newsroom announcement.

Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3 availability in India
Separately from the ambassadorship, Meta said Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3 smart glasses are available in India through Meta, Ray-Ban India and consumer electronics and optical or eyewear retailers. Meta’s announcement listed a starting price of INR 44,300 and 27 color-and-lens combinations across Aviator, Zena and Wayfarer styles. Price and availability may change.
Meta lists up to nine hours of battery life, a 12 MP camera, 3K Ultra HD video recording and a customizable action button. These are manufacturer-stated specifications, not independent test results. Meta describes the glasses as supporting hands-free photos and video, music and podcasts, calls, and access to Meta AI.

What is available now—and what is still coming
Meta said Ray-Ban Meta Audio and its Muse AI agent were “coming soon” in its October 1 announcement. That wording does not establish that either was available in India on the announcement date.

Conventional Ray-Ban frames are eyewear; Ray-Ban Meta adds connected functions such as camera capture, audio, calls and Meta AI access. The announcement does not compare fit, comfort or performance among Gen 3 styles, so choosing Aviator, Zena or Wayfarer is not a performance ranking based on the published details.
