In Ragnarok X: Next Generation (ROX), enchanting equipment adds bonuses, and the region you use determines or influences the available enchantment pool. Choose based on your build and activity, but check the live Enchantment NPC and your server’s client before spending materials: current stat pools, costs, and conversion rules are not established as identical across regions or versions.
What equipment enchantment does
Enchantment is an equipment progression system for weapons, armor, and accessories. A secondary guide describes possible bonuses such as flat attributes, percentage bonuses, penetration, critical effects, resistances, and PvP or PvE bonuses, as well as randomized lines and quality grades. These are broad orientation points, not a definitive current stat table; confirm the options shown for your equipment in game. BlueStacks’ enchantment guide presents city examples, but they should not be treated as exhaustive or universally current.

How to choose an enchantment region
Region is a useful starting point because it affects or determines the available enchantment pool. BlueStacks lists the following examples; use them to orient your search, then verify the actual choices at the NPC in your server.

What the official Glast Heim update confirms
The official Glast Heim update notice, published November 18, 2025, and scheduled for November 20, 2025, added weapon, armor, and accessory enchantment NPCs and enchantment stones. It says the stones can enchant equipment for higher STR, AGI, VIT, INT, DEX, and Luck. The notice names Lost Spirit Enchantment Stones, Illumination Enchantment Stones, and Steel Dust Enchantment Stones as materials consumed. Read the official Glast Heim update notice.

What the official Al De Baran update confirms
The official notice dated March 4, 2026, scheduled the Al De Baran update for March 8, 2026. It describes enchantment there as consuming corresponding enchant stones to grant equipment bonuses focused on “Final Attributes and Negative Status effects.” It does not publish a complete stat table for each equipment slot. How to enchant equipment
BlueStacks describes a basic process of visiting an Enchantment NPC, selecting equipment, reviewing the required stones or materials and Zeny, applying the enchantment, and inspecting the result. Treat these as guide-reported steps: the official notices cited here do not confirm every current interface detail or cost, and labels or availability may vary by server.
- Open the live client and locate the Enchantment NPC for the region you want to use.
- Select the equipment piece and inspect the enchantment options available for that slot.
- Review the displayed materials and Zeny cost before confirming. Do not assume costs or material requirements from another server apply to yours.
- Apply the enchantment only after checking the resulting bonus and any displayed reroll, lock, or replacement consequences.
The secondary guide says stones vary by city and equipment type, Zeny costs increase with enchant quality, and materials may come from life skills such as smelting and gardening, as well as guild activities and quests. These supply routes and cost details are not independently confirmed by the official update notices cited here. Check your client’s item descriptions and current NPC requirements before planning a farm or committing scarce resources.
Choose stats for your build and activity
There is no universally best enchantment in the sources available. Compare each option against what your character does and what the equipment needs to contribute.
- Damage-focused builds: compare the offensive bonuses actually offered for the slot, such as relevant penetration or critical effects, against your current stats.
- Tanks: weigh survivability and status-related effects against the content you play.
- Support builds: consider healing or resource recovery where those bonuses appear in the live pool.
- PvE, PvP, or guild-war use: decide which activity the equipment is for; a bonus useful in one mode may not serve another equally well.
- Equipment investment: account for the item’s rarity and how long you expect to use it before spending on repeated rolls or conversion.
These are comparison principles, not a ranking of specific stats. The available evidence does not establish current exact stat ranges, costs, or conversion rules across servers.
Rerolling and conversion: verify before committing
BlueStacks describes rerolling enchantment lines and locking a desirable line. It also describes an Aldebaran conversion process using conversion stones and Zeny, with a claimed one-level enchantment reduction, and names Dark Stillness Stone for weapons, Solar Stone for armor, and Starlight Stone for accessories. The official notices cited here do not verify these precise rules as current or universal. Check the NPC’s confirmation screen and your server’s current client before rerolling, locking, or converting, especially when the action could replace or reduce an existing result.
Manage enchantment setups with Battle Loadouts
A later official ROX maintenance notice introduced Enchantment Plan Management in Battle Loadouts. It describes saving different equipment enchantment configurations for loadouts, viewing enchantment attributes, managing enchantment cards, and switching configurations. It also notes filtering enchantments by equipment type and viewing enchantment-card sources in the backpack. This is a way to manage configurations; the notice does not say it changes the underlying stat pools. Availability may depend on the local server’s update status. Check official ROX announcements.
