Set the timezone before navigation
Timezone affects browser-visible date and time behavior, so configure it before loading the target URL. Use an ICU-supported timezone identifier, such as America/Los_Angeles. Passing null to the timezone API disables emulation.

Configure locale without guessing the API
Puppeteer’s changelog records locale emulation as added in version 25.2.0. The available references do not establish the current method name or signature, so there is no responsible, verified locale call to include as executable code here. Check the API reference for your installed Puppeteer version and insert its documented locale-emulation call after creating the page and before page.goto().

Locale and timezone are separate settings. A timezone changes timezone-related browser behavior; locale emulation may affect language and regional behavior, but its exact effects depend on the API and version. If the page uses either setting during initial rendering, applying it only after navigation can be too late.
Choose what the screenshot contains
page.screenshot() captures a page and can return image data as binary or base64. Its options let you decide whether to capture the viewport, the full page, or a specific rectangle.

A screenshot is meaningful only alongside the browser environment that produced it. Record the Puppeteer version, browser type and version, protocol, locale, timezone identifier, viewport, and screenshot options with the image. Puppeteer documents a bundled-browser compatibility guarantee; if you choose another browser executable, record that choice and its version too.

Protocol can affect feature availability. Puppeteer’s WebDriver BiDi documentation lists screenshot parameters and timezone emulation, while warning that not every feature works over every protocol. Check support for the protocol you actually use instead of assuming all options behave identically.
Wait for the right moment to capture
The example uses waitUntil: 'networkidle2', a condition shown in Puppeteer’s screenshot guidance. It may not be the right readiness signal for every website: pages with ongoing network activity can remain busy, while some pages render important content after network activity subsides. Use the condition that matches the target page, and, when necessary, wait for the relevant element or application state before taking the screenshot.

- Timezone call fails: Confirm you are using the documented
page.emulateTimezone(timezoneId)API and pass an ICU-supported identifier. If you intend to disable emulation, usenull. - Locale call is missing or rejected: Check your installed Puppeteer version and its corresponding API reference. Locale emulation was added in 25.2.0; do not assume a method name or signature from another version.
- The rendered page still uses the wrong regional behavior: Apply the configured locale and timezone before navigation, and verify the page’s behavior after it loads. Locale and timezone are distinct settings.
- The screenshot omits content below the fold: Set
fullPage: true. If you need only a portion, useclipor an element handle’s screenshot method. - The capture is blank or incomplete: Confirm that navigation succeeded and that the page reached a suitable readiness condition before capture. A network-idle condition is not a guarantee that every application has finished rendering.
- Options behave differently with another browser or protocol: Record the browser and protocol, and check the relevant support documentation. The bundled-browser guarantee does not make an alternate executable interchangeable in every setup.
