When to use the API route
- Use it when the community module does not expose an endpoint or setting your workflow needs.
- Use a static capture for a point-in-time image and a scrolling or full-page capture when the target content extends below the viewport, if the selected module exposes that option.

The connection does not authenticate

The request fails or returns an unexpected result
Verify that the request uses HTTPS, that the target URL is correctly supplied as a query parameter, and that the access key is valid. For a custom HTTP module, inspect the actual request and response in the current Make run history, then compare the configuration with ScreenshotOne’s current API documentation.
The next module cannot use the screenshot output
Inspect the output of the ScreenshotOne module in a test run. Map the actual returned image or file data into the downstream module’s expected input; do not assume field names or representations that are not shown in your app version.
