Sony publishes manuals for both the CFI-20XX and CFI-21XX Slim families. Sony’s CFI-2100 product listing says: “The CFI-2100 models are compatible with PS5 accessories for CFI-2000 products, including Console Covers (sold separately).” This supports compatibility for the accessories Sony identifies; check the accessory’s own compatibility information for other products. Adaptive charging is a software feature, not a revision identifier
In a September 12, 2024 system-update announcement, Sony said adaptive charging for the DualSense, DualSense Edge, PlayStation VR2 Sense controllers, and Access controller was available for the slimmer PS5 when the console is in rest mode. Yes, Sony lists its detachable Disc Drive for PS5 Digital Edition consoles in the CFI-2000 Slim and CFI-2100 Slim groups. Setup requires an internet connection so the drive can pair with the console.
