Progress Bar V10 is a free Colorlib example for a transaction table that combines an indeterminate loading line with a footer buffer bar. The top line signals that work is underway without claiming a percentage; the footer distinguishes downloaded rows from rows already processed. Colorlib says the 221 KB download uses HTML, CSS and a few lines of vanilla JavaScript, and can be used standalone or in Bootstrap 4, 5 or 6 projects. Those are the template author’s descriptions, not independent compatibility or performance tests.
What Progress Bar V10 demonstrates
Colorlib’s V10 page, dated September 25, 2026, presents a transactions table in a loading state. A thin indeterminate loader runs along the table’s top edge, while skeleton blocks occupy cells until content is ready. The table region is marked aria-busy, and a status line announces loading and completion. The two bars represent different kinds of information. The top line indicates activity with no reliable completion percentage. The footer buffer expresses a relationship between rows downloaded and rows processed. Keeping those meanings separate helps avoid suggesting that a task is nearly finished when the interface only knows that activity continues.

Build a labeled determinate bar in Bootstrap 5.3
Bootstrap 5.3’s documented structure places the progress semantics and range values on the outer .progress wrapper. The inner .progress-bar supplies the visible fill and can contain an optional label. The visual width and the ARIA value should describe the same state when the value changes dynamically.

</div>In this example, the wrapper communicates a value of 60 on a range from 0 to 100, and the inner bar is styled to 60% width. For a changing operation, update the visual width and the value attribute together; otherwise sighted users and assistive technology may receive conflicting progress information. Bootstrap says its 5.3.0 markup change addressed screen readers that did not announce zero-value bars under the previous arrangement.

Bootstrap’s accessibility guidance states: “The .progress wrapper also requires a role="progressbar" and aria attributes to make it accessible, including an accessible name (using aria-label, aria-labelledby, or similar).” Consult the official Bootstrap 5.3 progress documentation for the version-specific markup and examples. Stacked stages
Bootstrap 5.3 uses .progress-stacked around multiple .progress elements for stacked progress. Put each segment’s visual width on its own .progress element, and give each segment its own label and ARIA values where appropriate. This can represent distinct stages, but only if the stages and their relationship are understandable to users.

Stripes and animation
Add .progress-bar-striped for a striped appearance and .progress-bar-animated for an animated striped bar. Animation changes the visual treatment; it does not turn an unknown amount into measurable progress or make a percentage accurate.
Labels and color
Bootstrap cautions that long labels inside a bar can be clipped, and that label contrast may vary as text crosses track and fill backgrounds. Keep labels short or place explanatory text outside the fill. Do not use color alone to identify a stage or convey status; provide text or another accessible cue as well.

What the free download license covers
Colorlib lists Progress Bar V10 under CC BY 3.0. The roundup says its Colorlib snippets are free under that license but warns that curated examples can have different terms. Check the license attached to the particular code you plan to reuse rather than assuming the V10 listing applies to every example in the collection.
