Which options are available depends on your TV model, software and source device.

Open PowerPoint through Microsoft 365 on the TV
Some Samsung TVs offer Microsoft 365 through the PC on TV menu. Samsung’s instructions describe selecting the Microsoft 365 icon, signing in with a Microsoft Office account, and using Microsoft 365 in the TV browser to work with PowerPoint documents. Availability by model and region, and whether your account requires a subscription, should be confirmed for your setup.

- Open the TV’s PC on TV menu and look for the Microsoft 365 icon.
- Select Microsoft 365 and sign in with your Microsoft Office account.
- Open the presentation in PowerPoint and use the browser-based controls to present it.
This route uses the TV’s own browser experience rather than displaying your computer’s desktop. Samsung’s feature overview is at PC on TV on Samsung Smart TVs.

Mirror PowerPoint from a computer
Screen mirroring displays the computer screen on the TV, so you can run PowerPoint on the computer and show the presentation on the larger screen. Samsung’s documented Windows instructions require the PC and TV to be on the same Wi-Fi network. The wireless-display option also depends on PC and TV compatibility.
Windows 10 or 11
- Connect the TV and PC to the same Wi-Fi network.
- On the PC, press Windows + P to open the Project panel.
- Choose Connect to a wireless display, then select the Samsung TV if it appears.
- Open PowerPoint on the PC and start the slideshow.
If Connect to a wireless display is missing from the Project panel, Samsung notes that the PC may not support the feature. See Samsung’s PC screen-sharing instructions for compatibility and connection guidance.

Mac
Samsung documents screen sharing from a Mac, but the exact connection controls can depend on the Mac and TV. Confirm both devices support a compatible screen-sharing method and follow the instructions for those models. Once connected, open the presentation on the Mac and start the slideshow.

You can present from a phone by mirroring its screen to the TV. Samsung says SmartThings can detect and connect to most Samsung TVs made from 2016 onward; older TVs may require Smart View. The available method depends on your phone and TV.

- Connect the phone and TV using a supported screen-mirroring method, such as SmartThings on compatible devices.
- Open the PowerPoint presentation on the phone and start the slideshow.
- If wireless mirroring is difficult, connect the phone to the TV with a compatible HDMI adapter and select the HDMI input used by the adapter.
Samsung says USB-C HDMI adapters are sold separately and warns that third-party adapters for older devices may not have guaranteed performance. If the presentation does not appear
- PC on TV is missing: Check the manual for your exact TV model and software version; the feature is not available on every model.
- The TV does not appear as a wireless display: Confirm the TV and PC are on the same Wi-Fi network, and check that the PC supports wireless display.
- A phone adapter produces no picture: Verify that the phone supports video output over its port and that the adapter is compatible. On the TV, select the HDMI input where the adapter is connected.
- You are considering a USB drive: Samsung’s support information cited here does not establish that a PowerPoint file can be opened directly from USB. Check your specific TV’s manual rather than assuming direct playback is supported.
