1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFor buyers in India, the OnePlus 15R makes more sense if you want a larger display, a higher stated refresh-rate ceiling or its reported 4K/120fps rear-video mode. The iQOO 15R is the more compact option, with a slightly larger stated battery and faster wired charging. Both list the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, but neither specification sheets nor the dated price listings establish which phone performs better in sustained gaming or lasts longer in real use.

Which phone is better for display, gaming and daily use?
Choose by screen size and refresh-rate ceiling
The OnePlus 15R is the pick on paper if you prefer a larger 6.83-inch display or value its 165Hz maximum refresh rate. The iQOO’s 6.59-inch screen is the smaller of the two, with a stated maximum of 144Hz. A higher refresh ceiling does not mean every game supports that rate, and the listed display specifications do not establish which phone has better brightness, color or outdoor visibility.

Do not infer a gaming winner from the shared chip
Both India models list the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. That makes the platform a tie in this specification comparison, not evidence of identical frame rates, heat management or sustained performance. The supplied specifications contain no controlled gaming comparison, so choose based on the screen and other features you value rather than assuming one is faster in play.

Battery, charging and camera differences
Battery capacity is not a battery-life test
iQOO lists 7,600mAh typical capacity and 100W wired charging; OnePlus lists 7,400mAh and 80W SUPERVOOC. Those figures favor the iQOO on stated capacity and charging wattage, but they do not establish comparative endurance or charge time. Usage, settings and charging conditions affect real results.
Camera hardware and video modes
Both phones list a stabilized 50MP main rear camera and an 8MP ultrawide. The named main sensors differ: Sony IMX906 on OnePlus and Sony LYT-700V on iQOO. Megapixel counts and sensor names are not enough to declare which takes better photos; no controlled image-quality results are established here.
For video, OnePlus advertises rear recording up to 4K/120, while Mint’s February 2026 comparison reports up to 4K/60fps for the iQOO rear camera. Mint also reports front-camera video up to 4K/30fps on OnePlus and 4K/60fps on iQOO. These are reported modes; verify the exact regional firmware if a specific resolution and frame rate is decisive.

Which phone should you buy?
- Lean toward the OnePlus 15R if the larger display, higher stated refresh-rate ceiling or advertised 4K/120 rear-video mode matters most to you.
- Lean toward the iQOO 15R if you want the smaller display, higher stated battery capacity or 100W wired charging.
- For gaming, treat the shared platform as a starting point, not a performance verdict; the specifications do not supply a controlled sustained-gaming comparison.
- For photography, decide using trusted camera samples or testing rather than megapixels or sensor names alone.
- For price, compare the same RAM/storage variant and the current checkout total; the launch, April revision and October listings show why a single permanent price difference would mislead.
The manufacturer pages establish stated features, while the update-policy and video comparisons above come from dated Mint reporting. Neither source type establishes independent battery endurance, camera quality, long-term software smoothness or real-world sustained performance.
