The Galaxy S25 Ultra costs more in the published US listings, while the Pixel 11 is smaller and has a clearly stated seven-year update commitment. Google lists the Pixel 11 starting at $899; Samsung lists the S25 Ultra with 256GB at $1,299.99, a $400.99 difference between those listed prices. Because one is a starting price and the other is a specific storage configuration, that is not a like-for-like comparison.
How much do the Pixel 11 and Galaxy S25 Ultra cost?
Google’s official US announcement lists the Pixel 11 starting at $899. Samsung’s US purchase listing shows these Galaxy S25 Ultra configurations and prices:

| Phone and configuration | Listed US price |
|---|---|
| Google Pixel 11, starting price | $899 |
| Galaxy S25 Ultra, 256GB | $1,299.99 |
| Galaxy S25 Ultra, 512GB | $1,419.99 |
| Galaxy S25 Ultra, 1TB | $1,659.99 |
The S25 Ultra’s listed 256GB price is $400.99 above Google’s Pixel 11 starting price. The Pixel figure is a starting price rather than a confirmed price for a directly matched storage tier, so treat the difference as a comparison of those published figures, not a same-capacity price gap. Samsung’s listing and promotions can change; these prices were checked against manufacturer sources on October 7, 2026.
Google’s UK specifications page separately lists the Pixel 11 from £879. That UK price is not converted or combined with the US prices.

Which phone is the better fit?
Choose the Pixel 11 if a smaller phone and published update commitment matter most
At 6.3 inches, the Pixel 11 has the smaller listed display. Google specifies seven years of operating-system, security and Pixel Drop updates, and its starting price is lower than Samsung’s listed 256GB S25 Ultra price. That makes the Pixel a practical fit for someone prioritizing a compact handset, a defined support commitment and a lower entry price.
Choose the Galaxy S25 Ultra if you want a larger, higher-resolution display or more storage options
The S25 Ultra’s 6.9-inch, 3120 × 1440 display is larger and higher in resolution than the Pixel’s listed panel. Samsung’s US listing also includes a 1TB option, while the Pixel specifications list 256GB and 512GB. Samsung highlights a 200MP wide camera; the Pixel’s listed rear setup includes a dedicated 5× telephoto camera. These hardware differences do not, by themselves, establish which phone takes better photos.

Do the camera and processor specifications prove which is faster or takes better photos?
No. The listed processors are Google Tensor G6 and Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, but the manufacturer sources cited here do not provide comparable independent benchmarks. Likewise, megapixel counts, zoom specifications and camera hardware cannot establish real-world photo quality. A speed or camera winner would require comparable independent testing, which is not established here.

What should you know about battery life and chargers?
Google lists a typical 4,985mAh Pixel 11 battery and claims 30+ hours of use. It says the phone can reach up to 55% in about 30 minutes with a 30W USB-C PPS charger or higher, sold separately. Samsung lists a 5,000mAh S25 Ultra battery and claims up to 31 hours of video playback; its product material says a charger is not included.

Those endurance figures use different measures—Google’s general-use claim and Samsung’s video-playback claim—so they are not directly comparable test results. Include the cost of a compatible charger in your purchase decision if you need one; the cited product material does not establish that a single charger is suitable for both phones.
