The biggest difference is size: the Pixel 10 Pro XL has a 6.8-inch display, while the Pixel 11 Pro is a more compact 6.3-inch phone with Google’s newer Tensor G6 processor. Their U.S. launch prices were $1,199 and $1,099, respectively, but those historical starting prices do not tell you which costs less today.

Which phone is the better size for you?
Choose the Pixel 10 Pro XL for the larger display
Its 6.8-inch screen gives you more viewing area for reading, video, and other tasks where a larger display matters. The trade-off is a larger overall phone; the XL is the less compact option.
Choose the Pixel 11 Pro for a more compact phone
At 6.3 inches, the Pixel 11 Pro is the smaller model in this comparison. It may suit you better if you prefer a phone that takes up less room in your hand or pocket. The display-size difference is substantial enough that these are not same-size successors: decide first whether you want the larger-screen XL or the smaller Pro.

What changes with Tensor G6 and the cameras?
Tensor G6 is newer, but independent speed results are not established here
The Pixel 10 Pro XL uses Tensor G5; the Pixel 11 Pro moves to Tensor G6. Google says Tensor G6 improves web browsing, app launches, and on-device AI processing compared with Tensor G5. Those are Google’s own comparisons, not independent benchmark results, so they should not be read as a measured guarantee of how much faster the phone will feel in every task.

The Pixel 10 Pro XL’s published 10-series Pro camera specifications list a 50 MP wide camera, a 48 MP ultrawide camera, and a 48 MP 5x telephoto camera. Google lists the same headline camera resolutions and 5x telephoto for the Pixel 11 Pro, along with Pro Zoom up to 120x.

Google says the Pixel 11 Pro telephoto sensor is larger and has 30% more light sensitivity than the prior generation. That is a manufacturer claim, not an independently verified result in a controlled camera comparison. A maximum zoom figure also does not mean every zoomed image will retain optical-level detail.

Wireless charging standards differ
Google lists Qi2 charging up to 25W for the Pixel 10 Pro XL and Qi2.2 up to 25W for the Pixel 11 Pro. Both ratings are conditional on compatible charging equipment and operating conditions; check that a charger supports the phone’s stated standard rather than assuming the standards are interchangeable.

Both have a seven-year update commitment
Google announced seven years of OS, security, and Pixel Drops support for each generation. The duration is the same, but the Pixel 11 Pro launched later, so its support period starts later on the calendar. The cited announcements do not establish a model-specific final support date.
Which should you buy?
- Pick the Pixel 10 Pro XL if a 6.8-inch display is central to your choice and its current price is compelling against the Pixel 11 Pro in the same storage configuration.
- Consider the Pixel 11 Pro if you want the smaller 6.3-inch form factor and newer-generation hardware, and its current matched-storage price works for you.
Neither launch price settles today’s value comparison. The right decision depends on your preferred screen size and the actual price you can pay after checking configuration, availability, and any offer eligibility.
