To pin a website from Microsoft Edge in Windows 11, install it as an app, then choose Pin to taskbar or Pin to Start in Edge’s app details. For a Start-menu pin only, Edge also offers a direct Pin to Start command.
Pin a website to the taskbar or Start menu from Edge

Open Microsoft Edge and go to the website you want to pin.

Select Settings and more (…) > More tools > Apps > Install this site as an app.

If Edge asks, confirm the app name, then install the site.

In Edge’s address bar, enter
edge://appsand press Enter. -
Find the website’s app card and select Details.

Add a website directly to Start
If you only need a Start-menu shortcut, Microsoft also documents a route that skips the app-management page: with the site open in Edge, select More options > More tools > Pin to Start. Microsoft Support: Customize the Windows Start Menu

Edge’s site-as-app option gives the website a dedicated window and makes it available through Windows Start or the taskbar.
