Piggyvest GetIT’s Ride Goals is a Nigeria-only savings-and-delivery plan for new Mikano vehicles. Eligible users choose a car, select a 3-, 6-, 9- or 12-month schedule, contribute daily, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly, and receive the vehicle after reaching the target. The important limits are a possible 5% early-withdrawal fee, price changes before completion, delivery-window conditions and the absence of a clearly published post-delivery car-refund policy.
What the GetIT car savings plan is
GetIT is a structured payment plan inside Piggyvest rather than a conventional car loan. You select an available brand-new Mikano vehicle in the app, choose how long you want to save, and make contributions toward the displayed target. Piggyvest’s announcement says the schedule can be daily, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly, with terms of 3, 6, 9 or 12 months.

The arrangement is designed for someone who wants a new vehicle but prefers to build the purchase amount over a defined period. Piggyvest co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer Joshua Chibueze said some customers were already using different Piggyvest wallets to save for cars. Mikano National Operations Manager Syam Abdulkadir described the plan as a way to avoid limiting buyers to used vehicles or cars without after-sales service solely because of affordability.

When the target is complete, Piggyvest says Mikano starts processing the order and the car is delivered to the address entered by the customer. GetIT’s FAQ describes delivery as taking place within the applicable delivery window after the target date, not necessarily on the day the final contribution posts.

Who is eligible to use it?
The plan sits under Piggyvest’s general service requirements. You should expect to need all of the following:
- Registration for a Piggyvest account and acceptance of its Terms of Use.
- Nigerian citizenship or legal residence in Nigeria.
- Age 18 or older.
- A Nigerian bank account.
- The identity information Piggyvest requests during registration or account verification.
- An active account and access to the Piggyvest app, where the vehicle and plan are selected.
The service currently operates only in Nigeria and is available to users with Nigerian bank accounts. A person living abroad without the required Nigerian account should not assume that an overseas payment method or delivery address will qualify. Check the eligibility screen and current terms before transferring money, particularly if your residence, citizenship or account status has changed.
How much do you pay, and how is the target calculated?
Contribution frequencies and terms
You choose one contribution frequency and one term:

The app displays the selected vehicle’s price and divides the target across the chosen schedule. The resulting amount is a plan calculation, not a universal monthly price for every customer: changing the vehicle, term or frequency changes the required contribution.
Payment routes named by Piggyvest
Piggyvest identifies bank transfer, Flex Naira and PocketApp as payment routes for the plan. The first save is made when you subscribe unless you switch off the “Start saving immediately” option. Read the confirmation screen carefully so you know whether your first contribution is being taken at sign-up or whether the schedule begins later.
Illustrative vehicle-price example
Piggyvest’s October 2026 announcement listed a Changan Eado Elite at ₦31,164,250. It also showed a 5% discount on a 12-month plan, producing a target of ₦29,606,038. Those figures are a product example from that announcement, not a guaranteed quote: vehicle prices, available models and promotional discounts can change.

Can the target change after you start saving?
Yes. Piggyvest says the target can adjust if the vehicle’s price changes. It also says it will notify the saver in advance. This creates price exposure that ordinary saving in a separate account also has, but here the change is attached to an active delivery plan: reaching the original contribution total may not be enough if the displayed vehicle price has risen.
When a notification arrives, compare the revised target with your remaining term and contribution capacity. If the new amount is unaffordable, review the cancellation rules before withdrawing. A price adjustment is not the same as a refund approval, and the published materials do not say that a customer can reject a revised price without the normal withdrawal consequences.
When and where is the car delivered?
Address and fulfilment sequence
The customer selects a delivery address in the app. Piggyvest says Mikano begins processing after the target is reached, then delivers the vehicle to the supplied address. The delivery commitment is therefore conditional on two events: completion of the savings target and the vehicle-specific delivery window.
- Open the available GetIT vehicle listing in the Piggyvest app.
- Choose the vehicle and contribution term, then review the displayed target and schedule.
- Enter or select the delivery address requested in the app; check spelling, contact details and access instructions before confirming.
- Continue contributions until the app records the target as complete.
- After completion, monitor the order status and the delivery window shown for that vehicle and plan.
The exact number of days is not stated as one universal period. It depends on the selected vehicle and plan, so treat the window shown in your account as the operative estimate. Keep evidence of the completed target, address confirmation and any delivery messages in case you need support.
Can you cancel or withdraw before delivery?
The announcement separates early withdrawal, cancellation during the first 24 hours and cancellation after the target is reached. The rules are savings-plan rules; they do not describe a general vehicle-return process after delivery.

“5% of the amount withdrawn” means the deduction is tied to the money you take out, not necessarily 5% of the vehicle’s full price. The published announcement does not provide a separate worked example, so use the withdrawal amount shown in the app or obtain the calculation from support before submitting a request.
The 24-hour rule also needs careful reading. Piggyvest says cancellation is free within 24 hours except where the saver paid by card or bank transfer. Do not assume that every payment route receives the same treatment, and retain the subscription timestamp so you can establish when the 24-hour period began.
Are refunds available if the car is late, defective or rejected?
The official materials reviewed for this plan do not publish a car-specific refund procedure for a late delivery, a defective vehicle or a customer who rejects the delivered car. They explain savings cancellation and withdrawal, but they do not establish a post-delivery return window, inspection process, replacement obligation, refund timeline or allocation of transport costs.

Before making a substantial contribution, request the current Piggyvest/Mikano purchase and fulfilment terms and ask support, in writing, at least these questions:
- What remedy applies if the vehicle arrives after the stated delivery window?
- How are manufacturing defects or transit damage documented and inspected?
- Can the buyer reject the vehicle at handover, and within what time?
- Who pays for return transport, repairs or replacement?
- When is a refund issued, and are any deductions permitted?
- Which party is responsible for the remedy: Piggyvest, Mikano or another named dealer?
Keep the written answer with your order records. If support cannot point to a current contractual remedy, treat the absence of a published policy as a material risk and decide whether you are comfortable proceeding.
How does GetIT compare with other ways to buy a car?
The useful comparison is not only the contribution amount. It is the combination of eligibility, price certainty, cancellation exposure and who fulfils the vehicle order.

GetIT may suit a buyer who wants a defined savings schedule and a new Mikano vehicle delivered through the plan. Independent saving offers more control over timing and model choice but does not reserve a vehicle or provide this delivery workflow. Finance can spread payment beyond the purchase period, yet its interest, collateral and default consequences must be assessed from a specific lender’s contract; they are not supplied by the GetIT announcement.
What to verify in the app before subscribing
- Confirm that your account passes the Nigerian residency, age, bank-account and identity requirements.
- Open the exact vehicle listing and record its current price, model, included discount and target date.
- Check whether the 5% discount applies to the term you selected; the published example ties it to 12 months.
- Select a contribution frequency you can maintain without relying on uncertain future income.
- Review whether “Start saving immediately” is switched on and whether a first contribution will be taken at subscription.
- Confirm the payment route and any route-specific treatment under the 24-hour cancellation rule.
- Read the delivery address carefully and save the delivery window displayed for the selected vehicle.
- Find the current cancellation, withdrawal and price-adjustment language before your first save.
- Obtain written answers about defects, late delivery, rejection and refunds because those remedies are not set out in the published announcement.
Common scenarios and the right response
You can no longer afford the revised target
First check the notice showing the new vehicle price and the remaining amount. Then compare the cost of continuing with the 5% withdrawal deduction. Do not simply stop contributing without checking the account’s cancellation or withdrawal procedure; an uncompleted schedule and a formal cancellation are not necessarily treated the same way.

You have reached the target but want a different vehicle
The published rule says the order cannot be cancelled once the target is reached. Contact support before completion if you are uncertain about the model, specification or address. Waiting until the target posts may remove the cancellation option.
The delivery window has passed
Save the target-completion date, the vehicle listing, the promised window and all messages. Contact Piggyvest through its current support channel and request a written status from the fulfilment party. Do not infer a refund entitlement from the delay because no post-delivery or late-delivery refund process is published in the reviewed materials.
The vehicle appears damaged at handover
Document the condition immediately with dated photographs and the handover paperwork, and ask the delivering representative how the incident is recorded. Before accepting or signing anything that waives claims, obtain the applicable Mikano/Piggyvest contract and written instructions on inspection, rejection, repair or replacement.
