Phantom Blade Zero PC requirements
Steam lists these Windows PC profiles. The Epic Games Store also lists Windows requirements and gives October 28, 2026 as the availability date; that date was still in the future when the listings were checked on October 9, 2026. The resolution and frame-rate figures are the store’s stated targets with upscaling enabled, not independently tested results or guarantees.

These specifications and targets come from the Steam listing; the Epic Games Store listing corroborates the system requirement tiers. Store pages can change, so check the listing for your region before purchase.

How to check whether your PC matches a tier
- Check the processor and graphics card. In Windows, open Settings > System > About to see the processor, then open Task Manager > Performance to identify the GPU and installed memory. Compare the exact CPU and GPU models—not just a product family’s name—with the relevant column above. Also check graphics memory (VRAM) against the listed card’s specification.
- Confirm memory and Windows architecture. The profiles list 16 GB RAM and 64-bit Windows 10 or 11. In Settings > System > About, check Installed RAM and System type.
- Check DirectX support. Press Windows key + R, enter
dxdiag, and review the System and Display tabs. The published profiles require DirectX 12. - Confirm SSD space is available. The game must be installed on an SSD. The published requirements do not specify an SSD capacity, interface or form factor, so there is no stated minimum size to compare against.
- Choose a target honestly. Treat the minimum and recommended resolutions and frame rates as targets conditional on upscaling, not promises. If your hardware falls between the listed tiers, the storefront requirements do not establish what performance to expect.
What the requirements do—and do not—tell you about settings
The published material does not provide a complete in-game graphics menu, tested presets, or benchmarks for individual GPUs. It therefore cannot establish particular settings for texture quality, shadows, resolution scaling, ray tracing or frame generation, nor can it confirm a stable frame rate on a given PC. Once the game is available, check its graphics options and compare performance on your own hardware rather than treating the listed targets as test results.

Upscaling is part of both listed targets
Both storefront performance notes specify upscaling. A target of 1080p or 1440p with upscaling enabled is not the same claim as native-resolution performance; the requirements do not identify an upscaling mode or its quality setting.
DLSS 4 and ray tracing are announced features
NVIDIA’s Gamescom 2025 announcement says the game is planned to launch with DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation and describes ray-traced reflections, shadows and caustics. NVIDIA says Multi Frame Generation is for GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics cards and laptops. That feature announcement does not mean it is available on every card in the minimum or recommended profiles, and it does not provide performance benchmarks. Check the final game and driver information for availability on your hardware.

When an upgrade may be worth considering
If a component is below the tier you want to target, the requirements identify the gap but do not show how much an upgrade would improve performance. The clearest storage requirement is installation on an SSD: consider additional SSD storage only if you do not have suitable space available. The listing gives no required capacity or specific drive recommendation. A CPU or GPU upgrade should be based on your current parts, budget and the performance evidence available after release; the published specifications alone do not establish a particular upgrade as necessary.
