Images, stylesheets or fonts are missing
Check whether the renderer can reach each asset. When submitting HTML text to PDFCrowd, use absolute asset URLs or a <base> element; if assets are local, package them with the document. Also check for access restrictions that prevent the conversion service from fetching a resource.

The output looks like an unstyled or incomplete page
Confirm that the renderer loads the intended stylesheets and that the supplied HTML points to resources reachable from the rendering environment. If scripts populate content, establish whether the chosen engine supports JavaScript and whether its readiness behavior waits for the content to appear.
Print layout differs from browser output
Check whether the layout depends on print-specific page rules or on browser-specific behavior. Test page breaks, headers and footers, and long content in the target engine; a browser-oriented renderer and a paged-media engine do not necessarily interpret these needs the same way.

A request to a local development page fails
A hosted converter cannot reach your machine’s localhost just because the URL works in your browser. For PDFCrowd, its HTTP guide explicitly says the service cannot fetch the caller’s localhost. Use a reachable test environment or submit the HTML and assets using the supported input method.
