The OPPO K15s is the stronger fit if you prioritize a sharper AMOLED display, higher listed camera resolutions and a larger battery. The K15x offers a physically larger screen and a lower reported China launch price, but its panel is HD+ LCD. Both are listed with 120Hz displays and 45W charging. These are specification-based differences, not results from comparative hands-on testing.

Which display is better for you?
The K15x has the larger diagonal at 6.75 inches, but the K15s has the higher resolution and an AMOLED panel. The K15s is the clearer specification choice if you value pixel detail and AMOLED; choose the K15x if having a larger screen matters more than resolution or panel type. Both are reported to support refresh rates up to 120Hz.

The K15s lists a 50MP rear camera and 8MP front camera, compared with 13MP and 5MP on the K15x. Those figures give the K15s the higher listed sensor resolutions, but megapixels alone do not prove that it takes better photos. No comparative image-quality results were established.

Battery capacity and charging
The reported capacities are 8,000mAh for the K15s and 6,500mAh for the K15x, with 45W SuperVOOC charging listed for both. IT Home reports OPPO-attributed figures of 8,000mAh typical and 7,820mAh rated capacity for the K15s. These are manufacturer figures, not independent runtime measurements.
IT Home also reported OPPO’s claim that the K15s battery can exceed 2,000 charge cycles while retaining at least 80% capacity after about seven years, under a simulated pattern of roughly one full cycle every 1.3 days. Treat this as a manufacturer lab claim, not a verified forecast of how long a phone will retain capacity in everyday use. The same source reports OPPO claims for IP69K, IP69, IP68 and IP66 protection and 15 environmental tests under GJB150A-2009; these specifications do not guarantee resistance in every real-world condition. IT Home’s report describes those claims.

Availability outside China
The reviewed launch coverage places both phones in China. Gizbot reported on September 30, 2026 that OPPO had not announced an India launch date or global availability as of that publication date. That status is not proof that no later announcement has been made. Check the dated coverage and confirm with OPPO or a local retailer before buying.
For an import, verify the exact regional model, supported network bands and warranty terms with the seller. A China listing alone does not establish that a phone will work with your carrier or receive local warranty service.

Which OPPO phone should you buy?
- Choose the K15s if the sharper AMOLED screen, higher listed camera resolutions or larger stated battery are your priorities.
- Choose the K15x if you prefer the larger screen diagonal, want a 3.5mm headphone jack, or the lower reported China starting price matters most.
- Wait for a local listing if regional availability, network compatibility or warranty cannot be confirmed. The available figures do not support a verdict on comparative photo quality, measured battery life or real-world performance.
