Price difference in India: compare the same RAM and storage
OPPO announced F33 5G launch prices of ₹31,999 for 6GB + 128GB, ₹34,999 for 8GB + 128GB, and ₹37,999 for 8GB + 256GB. These are launch prices, not confirmed live transaction prices.

The Xiaomi specification page establishes 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB configurations but does not confirm a current manufacturer price. A 91mobiles comparison page lists ₹36,999 for the Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G; that is a secondary, time-sensitive listing, not Xiaomi’s confirmation or a live retailer check. For a fair price check, compare the 8GB + 128GB models with each other, or compare 8GB + 256GB with 8GB + 256GB. Confirm the seller, exact variant, offers and final checkout price; the available figures do not support a definitive current price-gap claim.

Which display is the better fit?
The Redmi’s listed 1.5K resolution (2772 × 1280) is the clearest specification advantage if fine detail is a priority. Both manufacturers list flat AMOLED panels with refresh rates up to 120Hz. Xiaomi states a 3,500-nit peak brightness, while OPPO states 1,400 nits; because the companies may use different measurement methods, those peak figures alone do not prove how the phones compare in everyday viewing.
How do the cameras differ?
The rear-camera setups serve different needs on paper. Xiaomi lists a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and an 8MP ultrawide camera. OPPO lists a 50MP main camera paired with a 2MP secondary camera. The Xiaomi configuration explicitly adds ultrawide framing and OIS; the OPPO announcement does not specify OIS for its main camera.

Both list a 16MP front camera. These specifications do not establish which phone takes better photos or video; that requires comparable independent testing.
Battery capacity versus charging speed
Xiaomi lists a 9,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, compared with OPPO’s 7,000mAh battery. OPPO’s stated wired charging rating is higher at 80W, versus Xiaomi’s 67W. Capacity and charging wattage are specifications, not guarantees of longer runtime or a shorter time to full charge; actual results depend on usage and charging conditions.

Performance and software: what the specifications can tell you
The phones use different processors: the F33 lists MediaTek Dimensity 6360 MAX (6nm), while Xiaomi lists Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 (4nm). Chip names and manufacturing-process figures are not enough to declare a speed winner. No independent benchmark results are established here.
