Dots: always-on agents
OpenAI describes Dots as agents designed to handle ongoing work. At the time of the recap, OpenAI listed availability for Pro and Business Premium in eligible markets. An Enterprise, Edu, and Healthcare beta requires a workspace administrator to enable it. These are not universal availability terms: check the relevant workspace and market before planning around Dots. GPT-6.1 Sol and Ultrafast
OpenAI describes GPT-6.1 Sol as an upgrade focused on agentic coding, computer use, and professional work. It says standard input and output token prices are one-fifth of Astra’s. Separately, OpenAI positions Ultrafast as a premium speed tier and reports up to 8× faster token generation in Codex and up to 6× in the API. These are OpenAI’s comparisons, not independent benchmarks; the stated speed figures are maxima, and access depends on the announced scope and eligibility. Decisions API
The Decisions API is in limited preview. It is intended for choosing from a finite set of answers defined by the developer—for example, to classify an input, route a request, or select an agent’s next action. OpenAI announced computer-use capability for its Agents API. This extends API-based agent workflows to interacting with a computer interface; developers should consult the recap for the feature’s rollout details before treating it as generally available.
Amazon Bedrock Managed Agents
