The Helldivers movie is now reported to arrive on June 9, 2028, after Sony moved it from its previously listed date of November 10, 2027. The same October 1, 2026 report says Alan Ritchson is set to replace Jason Momoa, who left the project earlier in 2026.
When does the Helldivers movie come out?
GamesRadar reported on October 1, 2026, that Sony shifted the Helldivers film’s release date to June 9, 2028. The earlier date was November 10, 2027. Sony’s investor schedule still accessible online lists that older date and says release dates and titles are subject to change; it predates the newer report, so it does not establish the current schedule. GamesRadar’s October 1 report and Sony’s earlier investor schedule are the relevant sources.

Who is starring, and who is directing?
Alan Ritchson replaces Jason Momoa
GamesRadar’s October 1 report describes Alan Ritchson’s casting as confirmed. TheWrap had reported on September 18 that Ritchson was in talks for the role. Because a primary Sony casting announcement is not available in the cited reporting, the safest phrasing is that Ritchson is reported to star.
