There is no single best multistreaming service for everyone. OneStream Live is the strongest fit among these three when you need a high destination limit or scheduled prerecorded streams. StreamYard is the better match for a browser-based studio with guests, branding and recording. Restream is worth considering when its channel integrations, custom RTMP, Studio or chat tools fit your workflow. The right choice depends on the exact destinations, production setup, video format and plan limits you need.

Which service fits your workflow?
Choose OneStream Live for destination scale or scheduled prerecorded content
OneStream Live’s published plans reach 50 simultaneous destinations, the highest stated cap among the plans compared here. Its product page says it supports 45+ social platforms and web destinations, accepts external encoders such as OBS and Zoom, and supports scheduled prerecorded streaming. That makes it the apparent fit if destination count or scheduling uploaded video is central to your workflow. Its free plan is substantially constrained by session duration, prerecorded-stream length, storage and retention, so check those limits against your actual use before relying on it.
Choose StreamYard for a browser studio, guests and recording
StreamYard is a more natural fit when you want to produce a show in a browser-based studio, bring guests backstage, apply visual branding and record. Core lists three destinations; Advanced lists eight, and the Help Center lists ten for Business. Core and Advanced differ in prerecorded-stream duration and recording features, so compare those details as well as destination count. The exact price may vary with promotions and renewal terms.

Choose Restream for its channel integrations, custom RTMP or chat workflow
Restream is a candidate when its integrated channel list, Studio workflow, multichat or custom RTMP support matches the platforms you already use. Its free plan allows choosing two channels from 30+, and its pricing page says Professional supports 1080p in Studio. Because not all tier limits are clear from the published details summarized here, confirm the destination cap and recording features for your intended plan before subscribing.
Compare the details that can change your decision
Destinations and account compatibility
A destination count is a plan limit, not a guarantee that every channel or account type you use is supported. List the exact pages, profiles or channels you want to stream to, then verify each service supports those account types and that your chosen plan permits them simultaneously. OneStream Live publishes the clearest tier-by-tier count in this comparison; StreamYard’s Business count comes from its Help Center; Restream’s free count is clear, but its paid tier limits should be confirmed directly.

Studio production versus encoder workflow
If you want to create the show inside a browser studio, StreamYard’s guest and branding workflow may matter more than the raw destination cap. If you already produce through an encoder such as OBS, OneStream Live says it can accept external encoders. Restream’s custom RTMP option is relevant when a destination accepts an RTMP URL and stream key. Check the product’s current setup guidance for the precise connection method and destination-specific requirements.
Live video, prerecorded streams and recordings
Do not treat prerecorded streaming and recording of a live show as the same feature. OneStream Live highlights scheduled prerecorded streams, with a 15-minute limit on its free plan. StreamYard lists prerecorded limits of 2 hours on Core and 4 hours on Advanced; its Advanced plan also lists 4K local recordings. Restream supports prerecorded Upload & Stream, but the exact plan limits are not established here. If you need to retain recordings, check storage capacity, retention period, export options and whether the listed recording is local or cloud-based.

Resolution, team access and other allowances
The published resolution details differ: OneStream Live lists 720p on Free and Basic, and 1080p on Standard and above; StreamYard Core lists 1080p and Advanced adds 4K local recordings; Restream’s published detail specifies 1080p in Studio on Professional. A local recording resolution is not the same as the live output resolution. Also verify team seats, storage, bandwidth, recording retention and any destination-specific restrictions; the published facts summarized here do not establish a complete side-by-side comparison of those allowances.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesCan you multistream for free?
OneStream Live and Restream both publish free options, but their limits differ. OneStream Live Free allows two destinations at 720p, but caps real-time sessions at 1 hour and prerecorded streams at 15 minutes, with 1 GB of storage and 60-day uploaded-file retention. Restream Free allows you to choose two channels from 30+; confirm any other limits relevant to your use on its current plan page. StreamYard says multistreaming is available on paid plans only. A free tier may be useful for checking a workflow, but confirm session length, output quality and destination support before scheduling an event around it.

Check these points before you subscribe
- Write down your destinations. Confirm each service supports your exact social accounts or pages, not just the platform name, and count how many must receive the stream at once.
- Choose your production method. Decide whether you need a browser studio with guests, an external encoder, custom RTMP or a service that schedules prerecorded video.
- Match the plan to the content. Check maximum resolution, prerecorded-stream duration, recording format and retention, storage, bandwidth and session length.
- Check team and account needs. Verify how many people need access and whether the plan supports the account types and permissions your team uses.
- Confirm the recurring total. Review billing cadence, promotional pricing, renewal terms and plan eligibility at checkout; do not assume a displayed monthly equivalent is the amount charged for your selected billing period.
- Verify current details before an important broadcast. Vendor pages and supported destinations can change, and no side-by-side reliability test is available here to establish which service stays live most consistently.
Where StreamNeo fits: 24/7 YouTube playback
If your goal is specifically to keep a YouTube channel live around the clock by looping uploaded videos, rather than to produce a live show across several platforms, StreamNeo is the first option to consider: it runs from the cloud, supports any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and offers a free first day.
StreamNeo is a separate, YouTube-only service for uploaded videos, not a camera-based multistreaming studio. Upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live; StreamNeo loops it from the cloud, so your computer and home connection do not have to stay on. Each slot includes one always-on stream, 10 GB of storage per slot pooled across active slots, 24/7 looping and playlists, automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream, and support from the StreamNeo team. Every plan has the same product; only the billing length changes.
