Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsBuy the OnePlus 13s if you want a compact phone with a dedicated 2x telephoto camera. Buy the OnePlus 15R if you want a bigger screen, a higher refresh-rate ceiling, a much larger battery and an ultra-wide camera. Neither is better for everyone. The real choice is between size and camera style on one side and screen and stamina on the other.

Size and handling: the clearest difference
The 13s is about 12.6 mm shorter, 5.3 mm narrower and roughly 30 g lighter than the 15R. OnePlus’s own tagline for the 13s is “Stronger. Smarter. Smaller.” That is marketing copy, but the dimensions back up the compact claim. The 15R is a large phone, so if one-handed use or small pockets matter, hold one in a shop before ordering.

Display
The 15R has a 6.83-inch panel with a 165 Hz ceiling, which suits video, reading and gaming. Per OnePlus’s specifications, 144 Hz and 165 Hz apply only in supported apps, so not everything will run at the top rate. The 13s has a smaller 6.32-inch AMOLED screen at a standard high refresh rate, which is smooth in everyday use. Choose the 15R for screen area and the 13s for ease of handling.
Performance
Both phones use flagship-class chips: Snapdragon 8 Elite in the 13s and Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 in the 15R. In 91mobiles’ comparison, the 15R scored 2,957,229 on AnTuTu against 2,581,355 for the 13s. That is one reviewer’s result, not a guarantee. The reviewer found strong performance on both phones, and most buyers will not notice the gap in daily use. Heavy gamers may value the 15R’s lead, along with its larger battery and screen.

Cameras: telephoto or ultra-wide
The two phones use their second lens differently. The 13s adds a 50 MP 2x telephoto, which suits portraits, tighter framing and modest zoom without cropping. The 15R replaces it with an 8 MP ultra-wide for landscapes, architecture and group shots. Pick by the shots you take most. Neither can be called the better camera in general, because the lens set differs and image quality depends on the scene and lighting. If you rarely use a second lens, the main cameras matter more.
Battery and charging
The 15R’s 7,400 mAh battery is about 26% larger than the 13s’s 5,850 mAh. 91mobiles reported better endurance on the 15R in its use, though real runtime depends on your settings and apps. The 13s lists 80 W SUPERVOOC on OnePlus India’s page. Charging speeds and the bundled charger differ by market on the 15R, so confirm what your regional listing includes.
Price and availability
A 91mobiles comparison published on 29 December 2025 listed the 15R at ₹47,999 and the 13s at ₹54,999 in India. These are historical figures, not current prices. Stock, bank offers and discounts change often, and the 13s’s exchange offers were India-specific campaigns with terms that could change. Check the exact model and current seller price before you buy. The 15R’s detailed specifications here come from OnePlus’s Canadian page, while the 13s data come from the India page. Features, IP ratings, configurations and accessories can differ by country.
