Choose the OnePlus 13s if you want a smaller phone; choose the OnePlus 13 if you want a larger, higher-resolution display and features OnePlus India lists such as IP68/IP69 protection and 50W wireless charging. Both use the Snapdragon 8 Elite, so chipset name alone is not a reason to pick one over the other. This comparison is India-centered: the 13s launch announcement said it would first be available in India, but that 2025 statement does not confirm where it is sold today.

Choose by the way you use your phone

Choose the OnePlus 13s for a compact form

The 13s is the clearer fit if you prefer a phone with a 6.32-inch display rather than the OnePlus 13’s 6.82-inch screen. OnePlus product manager Dylan framed the concept as, “What if compact could also mean uncompromised?” Treat that as a description of the product idea, not evidence that the smaller model has no trade-offs. If hand comfort is decisive, handle both models if possible; display measurements do not establish how either phone feels in your hand.

Choose the OnePlus 13 for a larger display and documented extras

The OnePlus 13 gives you more screen area and a listed 3168 × 1440 resolution, alongside IP68/IP69 protection and 50W wireless charging on OnePlus India’s specifications page. Those are meaningful reasons to prefer it if you value a large screen or want those specific features. Resolution alone does not determine overall display quality.

Do not choose on chipset name or battery capacity alone

Both phones are identified with the Snapdragon 8 Elite in official material. That shared platform does not establish identical sustained performance, thermal behavior, or gaming results; a consistent comparative test would be needed for those claims.

The published capacities are 5,850 mAh for the 13s and 6,000 mAh typical for the 13. Capacity figures are not runtime tests, so they do not show which phone lasts longer in everyday use. No independent battery-life measurement is established by the sources cited here.

Camera systems: compare versatility, not untested image quality

OnePlus’s 13s launch announcement describes a 50 MP main camera and a 50 MP telephoto camera, plus a 32 MP front camera. OnePlus describes the OnePlus 13 as having a triple-camera system and Hasselblad Camera for Mobile. These descriptions show different camera configurations, but they are not enough to declare one model the better camera phone. That would require comparable samples and testing across conditions such as daylight, low light, zoom, video, and portraits.

India prices and availability

The 13s figures above are its 2025 India launch prices with a bank discount stated; they are not a current price check. The OnePlus 13 figures are MRPs shown on OnePlus India’s specifications page accessed in 2026, not necessarily the price you will pay at checkout. Check current offers, configuration availability, and stock before deciding.

OnePlus’s 13s introduction said in April 2025 that the phone would “first be available in India” and that the company was “actively looking into launch possibilities in more regions.” That describes the announcement at the time, not present-day availability. If you are outside India, verify that the 13s is sold in your country, and check local network-band support and warranty coverage before importing or buying it.

How to make the final choice

  1. Set your screen-size preference. Pick the 13s if compactness is your priority; pick the 13 if you want its 6.82-inch display.
  2. Decide whether wireless charging and listed protection matter. OnePlus India lists 50W wireless charging and IP68/IP69 protection for the 13. Check the current regional 13s specification page rather than assuming those features are present or absent in every market.
  3. Compare the exact configuration and checkout price. Launch pricing and listed MRP are different kinds of figures and may not match today’s offers or local availability.
  4. Verify the model for your country. Confirm regional availability, network bands, and warranty terms—especially if considering an imported 13s.

Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
