OnePlus announced the OnePlus 13R on January 7, 2025, at the global OnePlus 13 Series launch. That is the official announcement date; it does not mean the phone went on sale on the same day in every country. Local availability and ordering dates depend on the market.

Display and design
The OnePlus 13R has a 6.78-inch display with a precise resolution of 2780 × 1264 pixels and a stated pixel density of 450 ppi. Its refresh rate varies dynamically from 1Hz to 120Hz, using LTPO 4.1 technology to balance smooth motion with lower refresh rates when the screen is showing static content. OnePlus markets the panel as a 120Hz ProXDR display.
The North American specification lists dimensions of 161.72 × 75.77 × 8.02mm and a weight of 206g. The India listing rounds the dimensions to 16.17 × 7.58 × 0.80cm and also gives a 206g weight; the difference is presentation and rounding rather than a distinct physical model.

Processing is handled by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform. OnePlus lists OxygenOS 15.0 based on Android 15 for the phone’s specification listing. Firmware can change after launch, so a retail unit may have a newer OxygenOS or Android version after updates.
Battery and charging by region
Battery capacity
OnePlus describes the battery as 6,000mAh typical capacity. The India specification page also gives a 5,860mAh rated capacity and 23.58Wh typical energy. Typical and rated figures are different ways of stating capacity; neither is a battery-life test.

Do not assume that an India 80W specification, a North American 55W specification, or the included charger applies worldwide. The phone’s regional page and the adapter’s compatibility determine the practical charging rate.
Camera specifications
Rear camera system
- Main: 50MP Sony LYT-700 sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS).
- Telephoto: 50MP camera providing 2x optical zoom. The North American page identifies the sensor as S5KJN5.
- Ultra-wide: 8MP camera.
The dedicated 2x telephoto camera is different from digital cropping: it supplies an optical focal-length option for portraits and nearer subjects. The listed megapixel counts and features are manufacturer specifications, not independent image-quality or low-light test results.

The front-facing camera is 16MP.

Water and dust resistance: what IP65 means
The OnePlus 13R carries an IP65 rating and uses Gorilla Glass 7i on both the front and rear, according to the launch material. IP65 indicates protection against dust and low-pressure water jets. It is not an immersion or waterproof rating.
- Do not deliberately submerge the phone or use it for underwater photography.
- OnePlus states that immersion is not protected and that liquid damage is excluded from its warranty.
- Ports, seals, wear, repairs, and other conditions can affect real-world resistance.
What can and cannot be inferred from the specifications
The listed Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, 120Hz-class LTPO display, large battery, and OIS-equipped camera hardware describe the phone’s component and feature set. They do not by themselves establish battery runtime, charging time, sustained gaming performance, thermal behaviour, or camera quality. OnePlus notes that technical figures can depend on test conditions, software, and usage, and that specifications may be revised.
