Use OBS Media Source for one file or VLC Video for multiple files. Then match the encoder and upload settings to what your VPS can sustain, test the stream in YouTube’s preview, and only then start the broadcast.
The playlist language does not change stream-key setup. The unresolved part is whether a particular Indian VPS can run your chosen OBS configuration reliably: that depends on the provider, plan, operating system, graphics environment, and workload.

Before you start: channel access, VPS capacity, and playlist rights
Check that your channel can go live
YouTube says live streaming requires a verified channel with no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. Its current eligibility guidance sets the minimum age at 16. Check YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility requirements before configuring OBS.

Check the VPS against the actual workload
Do not treat an advertised VPS download speed or a plan label as proof that it can run a continuous encoder stream. Confirm sustained compute capacity, outbound data-transfer limits, provider rules for long-running traffic, and a workable graphics and runtime environment for the operating system you intend to use. YouTube’s encoder guidance helps you choose a stream profile; it does not certify an Indian VPS plan or provide a universal headless OBS setup.

Confirm you have permission to stream the media
Make sure you have the rights needed to broadcast every video and audio track in the playlist. Hindi-language content is subject to the same copyright rules as other content. A stream key or a successful technical test does not establish that you are authorized to use a recording.
Create the YouTube encoder stream and copy its credentials

In YouTube Studio, select Create → Go Live, then open the Stream tab. Create a new encoder stream or schedule one for the intended start time. You may be able to reuse a stream key from an earlier setup.

In Live Control Room, copy the stream URL and stream key. YouTube describes the key as a password and address for your feed; treat it as a credential.

In OBS, open Settings → Stream. Select YouTube as the service and enter the copied server URL and stream key. If OBS presents a connect-account flow rather than manual fields, use the manual stream-key configuration when you need to enter the credentials from Live Control Room.

Keep the key out of screenshots, public configuration files, and logs. If it is exposed, reset it in Live Control Room and replace the old value in OBS. See YouTube’s live stream settings guidance.

Add the Hindi playlist as a looping OBS source

In the OBS scene where the video should appear, use Sources → + → Media Source.

Select the local video file on the VPS and enable Loop in the source properties.

Confirm the file plays and its audio meters move in OBS. This source loops one file; it is not a multi-file playlist manager.

Install VLC on the VPS. OBS’s VLC Video source depends on VLC being installed; the source may not appear otherwise.

In OBS, use Sources → + → VLC Video, add the Hindi video files in the required order, and leave Loop Playlist enabled.

Preview the transition between files as well as the end of the playlist. Verify that audio continues and the next item starts as expected.

OBS documents these media-source behaviors in its Media Sources guide. The exact playback result still depends on the files and the OBS/VLC environment installed on your VPS.
Choose OBS output settings for the VPS and connection
Choose a resolution and frame rate the VPS can encode continuously, then set the bitrate to suit that profile and the available outbound bandwidth. YouTube’s recommended values vary by codec, resolution, and frame rate; do not apply one profile’s bitrate to every stream.

These are YouTube’s published encoder and network recommendations, not a guarantee that a VPS can sustain them. Consult YouTube’s encoder settings, bitrates, and resolutions for the profile you choose, and YouTube’s streaming tips for network guidance. Measure or otherwise verify outbound capacity on the VPS rather than relying on its advertised download speed.
Test the stream, start the broadcast, and monitor it

Set up ahead of the scheduled start and start the OBS encoder early enough for YouTube to receive the feed.

Wait for the preview in Live Control Room. Check that the picture appears, the playlist is advancing, and the audio is audible and correctly balanced.

Open the watch page and verify playback there as well; the preview alone does not confirm every viewer-facing detail.

When the feed and watch page are ready, begin the scheduled broadcast in Live Control Room. Continue monitoring video, audio, and the encoder connection rather than assuming a VPS will recover from every interruption.
YouTube’s streaming tips recommend testing and monitoring. A test on the exact VPS, OBS/VLC installation, media, and chosen profile is more informative than assuming another provider’s or operating system’s setup will behave the same way.
Know the limits of long-running streams
YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. Do not rely on that rule to promise a complete single archive for a broadcast lasting longer than 12 hours. If preserving a replay matters, plan and verify your recording and archive workflow separately.

YouTube’s help also states limits of 10 active streams per channel and three active streams per stream key. If you need multiple simultaneous feeds, account for those limits when planning keys and streams.
Troubleshooting common setup problems

YouTube does not receive the OBS feed: Check that the URL and key were copied from the intended Live Control Room stream and that OBS is using the correct service and connection settings. If the key may have been exposed or changed, reset it in Live Control Room and update OBS.

VLC Video is missing from the OBS source list: Install VLC on the VPS, then reopen or refresh OBS and check again. OBS’s VLC source depends on the VLC installation.

The playlist stops after one file: Check that you added the items to a VLC Video source and that Loop Playlist is enabled. For a single Media Source, enable its separate Loop option.

The picture stutters or the connection drops: Check sustained VPS compute use and outbound capacity. Lower resolution, frame rate, or bitrate if the machine or connection cannot sustain the selected profile, while keeping to a suitable YouTube-recommended profile and upload headroom.

The preview is silent or audio is distorted: Check that the selected media has an audio track, watch the OBS audio meters during playback, and listen to the YouTube preview before starting the public broadcast.

The VPS works in a short test but not unattended: A short preview does not establish reliable long-term operation. Test the actual environment for the intended workload and confirm the provider’s limits and your monitoring and recovery plan; YouTube’s encoder and media-source documentation does not establish a universal headless or automatic-restart recipe.
