NOW WiFi Pass costs $10 for 30 days, according to Xfinity’s current support page, and gives non-Xfinity Internet customers access to Xfinity WiFi hotspots. You must be connected to an eligible hotspot to sign up, so the pass is useful only where an Xfinity hotspot is available; coverage and connection are not guaranteed.
What is NOW WiFi Pass?
NOW WiFi Pass is a paid, 30-day service for accessing Xfinity-owned and operated WiFi hotspots. It is not a home internet plan, a mobile data plan, or a physical hotspot device. Xfinity says the pass includes unlimited hotspot data and requires no additional equipment. The current support page describes access to more than 22 million hotspots, a company-published figure that may change over time. Xfinity’s NOW WiFi Pass overview

How much does NOW WiFi Pass cost right now?
Xfinity’s current support page lists the pass at $10 for 30 days for people who are not Xfinity Internet customers. Comcast’s May 9, 2024 launch announcement listed $20 for 30 days and 23+ million hotspots; that is historical launch information, not the price currently shown on Xfinity’s support page. The two hotspot counts come from company sources published at different times, and the sources do not explain the change. Comcast’s May 9, 2024 launch announcement

Can I use it where I live or travel?
Only if an eligible Xfinity hotspot is within range. The pass is limited to Xfinity-owned and operated hotspots in Xfinity’s service territory. Xfinity says hotspot availability and the ability to connect are not guaranteed at every location, and actual speeds vary and are not guaranteed. It is therefore not a substitute for continuous home broadband or mobile coverage when you are away from hotspots. Check Xfinity’s hotspot finder and current offer information for a specific location before relying on access. Xfinity WiFi hotspot information

Consider whether you can reliably reach an Xfinity hotspot before buying. The pass is a practical option for temporary access when those hotspots are available and two simultaneous devices are enough. If you need internet at home regardless of nearby hotspots, or connectivity while traveling through areas without Xfinity WiFi, a home broadband plan or cellular service is a different solution rather than an equivalent pass.
