Nolan North says he would be eager to play Nathan Drake again if Sony makes another Uncharted game. At a Gamergy Q&A in Puerto Rico, he answered, “110 per cent. Absolutely.” But North also said he had not heard anything about a new game, so his enthusiasm is not confirmation that one is in development.

Asked whether he would reprise Nathan Drake in a new Uncharted, North responded, “110 per cent. Absolutely.” He added that it “would be one of the biggest games ever if they decided to do it” and that “it just depends if Sony wants to make money,” according to Push Square’s report of the Q&A.

North also said, “I haven’t heard anything, but you know, it is a business and my God, can you imagine if they if they did? I mean, it would be the biggest announcement in gaming.” That qualification matters: he was expressing interest, not sharing inside knowledge of a project.

No official confirmation is established by the reports of North’s comments. He said he had not heard anything about a new game, and neither his remarks nor the coverage confirms development, his casting, a platform, or a release date. GamesRadar+ likewise distinguishes North’s comments from rumors about another project.

North’s prediction that a new entry could be one of gaming’s biggest announcements is his opinion, not a sales figure or a forecast. The practical takeaway is simpler: he is willing to return, but says he knows of no new game.

For anyone looking to revisit the series, PlayStation’s official Uncharted page lists existing entries including Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, and The Nathan Drake Collection. The collection is an existing PS4 release containing the single-player campaigns from the first three games; it is not the new title North was asked about.
