It does not specify a total free cloud-storage quota or a numeric limit on still screenshots. Those are separate limits: the recording cap is not a screenshot count, and the upload cap is not an account-wide storage allowance.

The Nimbus Screenshot guide documents saving captures to a local drive, sending them to Nimbus Note or Google Drive, sharing through Slack, printing, and saving as PDF. The browser settings guide documents image-format selection and JPG quality adjustment.

- Local files: A capture saved to your computer is distinct from a file uploaded into a workspace; the free upload cap does not by itself describe local saving.
- PDF: The screenshot guide describes saving as PDF. It does not establish that every PDF workflow is available on every client or plan.
- Cloud and sharing destinations: Nimbus Note, Google Drive, and Slack are documented routes, but the pages do not provide a complete plan-by-plan availability matrix.

The screenshot product page also says Pro recordings can run up to 10 hours, while another guide describes the same duration for Premium. Because the plan labels vary and the pages may not reflect current entitlements, verify the applicable plan and recording allowance with Nimbus before relying on that paid-duration claim.
Choosing a workflow based on your needs
For occasional still screenshots
Save captures locally when you need image files without workspace storage. Choose the available image format and JPG quality in the browser settings; use PDF or printing when the documented workflow fits your output need. The official pages consulted do not state a numeric free still-capture count, so they cannot establish whether a high-volume workflow has a cap.

For workspace collaboration
Use Nimbus Note or a documented sharing destination when screenshots need to be accessible to others. If you upload files, account for the stated 10 MB free per-file cap. Nimbus’s consulted help does not disclose the total free workspace storage allowance, so check directly with Nimbus if your workflow depends on an aggregate quota.
For a share link without an account
Quick Upload avoids creating an account for the documented sharing flow, but the guide says the server copy is deleted after one year. It is therefore not a substitute for a durable archive you control.

For long recordings or advanced capture features
The free recording limit is 5 minutes. If you need longer recordings, MP4/GIF conversion, watermarks, or unlimited entire-page screenshots, Nimbus lists those paid Capture features, but confirm current plan naming and entitlement before subscribing.
Backups and exports are different
Nimbus’s account backup and export guide documents page export separately from account backup restoration. The guide says restoring from backups is available only to premium users; that restriction should not be read as saying ordinary page export is premium-only.
