For survival, support, or control

Build around the encounter, not just the letter grade
Pocket Gamer recommends pairing a single-target weapon with area damage from gadgets when needed. Its example is Speedshot alongside an area-damage gadget such as Multi Zapper or Smart Fireworks, to cover both a boss and regular mobs. That is a build suggestion, not proof that those combinations outperform alternatives.

Supercell’s release notes describe the reworked system this way: “Each Weapon is now its own class, coming with a pre-defined set of skills.” The same notes describe Weapon Sprints, weapon unlocks, and Upgrade Cores that can boost weapon power by up to 20%. That maximum is a mechanic description, not evidence that a particular weapon ranks highest.
Why published tier lists disagree
Noff.gg’s September 2026 list also places Jaded Blades, Speedshot, and Spinsickle in S, but puts Wolf Stick, Techno Fists, and Buzz-Kill in A and Singularity and Hornbow in C. Mobi.gg’s page headline says “October 2026,” but the page itself says it was updated July 28, 2026; it lists Speedshot, Spinsickle, Squid Blades/Jaded Blades, and Techno Fists in S. These are different editorial rankings, not a measured consensus, so combining their tiers would imply more agreement than the sources show.
