1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsNo single host wins on the evidence available in October 2026. SiteGround publishes clear introductory and renewal prices for its entry plan on its global page, and it describes its WordPress tooling in detail. MilesWeb’s India pages describe NVMe storage, on-demand backups and managed WordPress features, but the pages checked do not show comparable plan prices, and neither provider has an independent speed or uptime test behind it. The better host for you depends on your country, the plan you would actually buy, and what that plan costs after its first term.
What SiteGround’s published pricing shows
SiteGround’s global web-hosting page, checked on October 7, 2026, lists its StartUp plan at $2.99 per month introductory and $17.99 per month at renewal. The price is prepaid for 12 months and excludes GST. The same page lists a free domain, website transfer, daily backups and 24/7 support as included features. SiteGround’s global web hosting plans are the primary reference for these terms, and they can change, so confirm them at checkout for your country.

A TechRadar roundup dated September 3, 2026 lists the first-year and renewal monthly prices for the three main plans. It does not state the billing term for those figures, so treat them as a secondary cross-check. TechRadar’s WordPress hosting roundup is the source for the higher tiers below.

SiteGround’s WordPress hosting page describes unmetered data transfer, limited by plan resources. It also lists WordPress installation, automatic updates, staging, backups, security and other managed tools. It states that its data centers are distributed globally and recommends choosing a location close to your visitors. These are the provider’s own descriptions. The page does not report speed results, so it cannot tell you which location will perform best for your audience.

What MilesWeb’s pages describe
MilesWeb’s pages checked here are regional. They are the India pages, so currency, plan names and prices apply only to that market. Do not carry their details over to another country without checking the matching local site.
India web hosting
MilesWeb’s India web hosting plans page lists on-demand backups and included email accounts. It does not state plan prices in the text checked, so this page alone cannot establish a MilesWeb cost comparable to SiteGround’s.
India WordPress hosting
MilesWeb’s India WordPress hosting page describes NVMe storage and the ability to create backups on demand and restore from available backups. Restore options differ by plan, so check which backups are available on the plan you pick.

Side-by-side feature comparison
The table below compares what each provider’s pages state. “Not stated” means the pages checked did not mention that item. It does not mean the feature is missing from the plan.

MilesWeb has also published its own comparison, MilesWeb vs SiteGround: Which Web Host Is Best for Your Business? It is written by one of the two companies being compared, so read it as the vendor’s view rather than an independent test.

What the evidence does not show
The sources checked do not include an independent speed test, uptime measurement or customer-outcome study comparing these two providers. Any claim that one is faster or more reliable would rest only on vendor feature lists, and that is not a sound basis for choosing a host. The evidence also gives no like-for-like MilesWeb price, so you cannot yet say which provider is cheaper for the same plan in the same country.
Quick Recap
Best Value
How to run a fair comparison
- Fix the country and currency first. Open each provider’s site for your country and note the currency shown at checkout. MilesWeb’s India pages cover India only.
- Match the plan tier to your site count and storage. Compare the closest equivalent plans, such as SiteGround StartUp against a MilesWeb plan with similar limits, and record the stated resource limits for each.
- Record the introductory and renewal prices separately. For SiteGround StartUp, the listed monthly equivalents give about $35.88 for the first 12 months. If the $17.99 renewal stays in place for two more years, the three-year total is about $467.64 before tax, using the listed monthly figures.
- Check taxes and prepayment. SiteGround’s StartUp price excludes GST and requires 12-month prepayment on the global page. Confirm the same on your checkout for MilesWeb.
- Confirm backup and restore behavior. Find out whether restore is self-service, whether it is limited to certain backups, and whether daily backups are included on the plan you choose.
- Locate the data center. Ask where the server sits relative to your main audience, and check whether the provider offers a choice of location.
- Test performance yourself if speed matters. Use a free trial or a money-back window, if one is offered, and measure load times from your audience’s region.
Which host to consider for your situation
- SiteGround is worth a close look if you want clearly posted USD entry prices, a free domain and managed WordPress tools such as staging, and your visitors are near one of its available data-center locations.
- MilesWeb is worth a close look if your business is based in India and you want NVMe-based WordPress hosting with on-demand backups and restore. Get the India checkout price before you compare it with anything else.
- Compare both on renewal cost if your budget depends on the price after the first term, since an introductory rate alone can mislead.
- Look elsewhere if you need an independently tested speed or uptime record. The sources here do not supply one for either provider.
