Reinstall Solitaire from Microsoft Store

Open Start, search for Microsoft Store and launch it.

Sign in to the Microsoft account you use for Store apps if prompted.

Open the Store library. In Windows 11, select Library. In Windows 10, select See more and then My Library.

Find Microsoft Solitaire Collection and select Install. If it is not listed, search Microsoft Store for the game and open its product page to check for the Install button.

After installation finishes, open the game from Start or select Open on its Store page.
Microsoft Support’s general instructions for Store apps use the Library/My Library route, and its Solitaire help page also points to the Store listing and Install action: Microsoft Store app troubleshooting and Microsoft’s Solitaire and Casual Games help.

If Solitaire is missing from the Store
Microsoft says a Store app may not appear if it is unavailable in your country or region, hidden by family settings, removed from Store, incompatible with your device, or blocked because the PC or account is not authorized. A Windows update may also need a restart before Store availability updates.

Restart the PC if Windows recently installed updates, then check the Store again.

Make sure you are signed in to the Microsoft account you intended to use. The library is associated with your Store account.

Check for Windows updates and install any available updates. In Microsoft Store, open Library (Windows 11) or See more > My Library (Windows 10), then select Get updates if shown.

If the app still does not appear, check Microsoft’s guidance on why an app cannot be found or installed from Microsoft Store.
If Microsoft Store is not working properly
When Store search, downloads or installation behavior appears to be the problem across apps, clear the Store cache with Microsoft’s built-in reset command:

Press Windows key + R to open Run.

Enter
wsreset.exeand select OK. -
A blank command window may appear briefly; Microsoft says Store should open afterward. Search for Microsoft Solitaire Collection and try the installation again.
If Solitaire is installed but will not run
For an installed app that misbehaves, use Windows’ Repair control if it is available. Repair attempts to fix the app without removing its data. If Repair is unavailable or does not help, Reset is another option, but it may clear app data.

Windows 11: Open Settings > Apps > Installed apps, select the menu beside Microsoft Solitaire Collection, choose Advanced options, then select Repair or, if necessary, Reset.

Windows 10: Open Settings > Apps > Apps & features, select Microsoft Solitaire Collection, choose Advanced options, then select Repair or, if necessary, Reset.
These controls are not available for every app. If they are missing or do not resolve the problem, return to Microsoft Store and reinstall from Library/My Library. See Microsoft’s instructions for repairing apps and programs in Windows.
