Microsoft announced standalone apps for iOS and Android on September 30, 2026. The US Apple App Store listing identifies the app as free and requires iOS 15.0 or later on iPhone and iPad. That iOS requirement does not establish which Android versions are supported. The standalone app is distinct from Jewel experiences embedded in other products; the launch announcement does not establish that their features are identical.
How do I sync progress between mobile and PC?
Sign in to the game with a Microsoft account. Microsoft says this syncs progress among Microsoft Jewel on iOS, Android, and the standalone PC app, allowing you to continue on another of those apps without starting over. Do I need an Xbox console or account for achievements?
Microsoft says signing in with a Microsoft account lets players track accomplishments and build their Xbox profile while playing on mobile. The app listing advertises Xbox Achievements, but Microsoft does not say that an Xbox console is required. The available announcement and listing do not explain specific unlock rules or how to resolve an achievement that has not appeared.

The official store listings identify Microsoft Jewel as free, and Microsoft does not say that a subscription is required to download or play it. The distinction in the announcement is where Premium benefits apply:

Microsoft confirms that account sign-in is intended to sync progress, but the launch announcement does not provide troubleshooting steps for a failed sync. The reviewed official sources also do not explain offline progress, reinstall recovery, or data retention. That lack of guidance does not establish that progress is lost. For account-specific help, consult current Microsoft or Xbox support rather than assuming a particular recovery procedure.
