These four values and locations are independently reported by PowerPyx, AllThingsHow, and Beebom. The order matters: the first three keypads are all in Mission 10, while the penthouse keypad is in Mission 15.

Where the keypad is
During Mutant Detected, Logan and Mystique reach a keypad-controlled elevator inside Trask’s facility. This is the only keypad in the mission that blocks the main route. Enter the elevator code from the table to call the lift and continue the story.

How to identify the clue
Wolverine’s enhanced senses reveal fingerprint marks on a set of buttons. Those marked buttons are the clue for the elevator combination. If you have reached the elevator but are unsure which keypad sequence is intended, activate the enhanced-senses view and inspect the buttons rather than trying random combinations.
What happens after entry
A correct entry calls the elevator. Because this door is required for progression, you cannot permanently miss it by walking past it. If the keypad rejects your input, check that you are still at the Trask elevator in Mission 10 and re-enter the four digits carefully.

Finding the optional room
After Mystique opens the route in Mutant Detected, follow the blue scent trail. Take the first corridor on the left to reach a locked optional room with a keypad. This detour is close to the main path, but the door does not need to be opened to finish the mission.

What is inside
The room contains a Material Crate. Opening it provides crafting resources used for suits and claws, so it is worth visiting if you are collecting materials or completing the mission thoroughly. The code is not a separate story puzzle; it is the combination for this specific side room.
Common navigation mistake
The blue trail can make the main route feel more urgent, causing players to pass the left-hand corridor. If you want the crate, slow down when Mystique has opened the route, look for the first left turn, and check for the keypad before moving farther through the facility. Enter the Material Crate combination shown above once you are at that door.

When to look for it
The second optional keypad in Mutant Detected appears later, after the jet-engine and fire sequence. At that point, turn left into the corner area. A wooden crate blocks the keypad, so the lock is easy to overlook even when you are standing nearby.

Clearing the obstruction
Smash the wooden crate to expose the keypad. Enter the Whisky Bottle room combination from the table. The door leads through a vent to a room containing the Fist of Legend whisky bottle, an optional collectible.
Why the code may seem unavailable
If you cannot find the keypad, you are probably too early in the mission or have not turned into the corner area after the fire sequence. The code only helps once the crate has been destroyed and the keypad is visible. This room is optional, so leaving the area does not prevent story completion.

Reaching the keypad
In Bad Blood, the keypad is inside Shiro’s penthouse in Shinjuku, Japan. It is attached to a cabinet or concealed-room entrance connected to the investigation. Unlike the two collectible rooms in Mission 10, this lock is on the main story path.

Reading the manga-volume clue
Look at the nearby bookshelf. Four manga volumes protrude farther than the others. Their volume numbers, read in order, are 1, 9, 2, and 4. Those numbers form the penthouse combination. Enter the four-digit value from the table to open the cabinet and access the secret room needed for the investigation.
Resolving the 1914 discrepancy
One Radio Times guide lists 1914 for Shiro’s closet. That value conflicts with the three independent guides that report 1924, and it does not match the visible sequence of protruding manga volumes described by those guides. Treat 1914 as an outlier or likely typographical error; use 1924 for the penthouse keypad.
Which doors are required?
Story-critical keypads
- The Trask elevator in Mission 10 is required to move through Mutant Detected.
- Shiro’s penthouse cabinet in Mission 15 is required for the investigation in Bad Blood.
Optional collectible keypads
- The Material Crate room in Mission 10 adds crafting resources for suits and claws.
- The Whisky Bottle room in Mission 10 contains the Fist of Legend whisky bottle.
Missing either optional door does not stop the campaign. The distinction is useful when deciding whether to backtrack immediately or keep following the objective.

Can you return for missed codes?
AllThingsHow reports that Mission Replay can be used for cleanup. That means a missed Material Crate or Whisky Bottle room can be revisited through the relevant mission rather than requiring a fresh full-game run. Replay the mission, follow the location-specific route above, and enter the code when you reach the keypad. The elevator and penthouse doors should be handled naturally during their respective story missions.
Keypad troubleshooting
The code is rejected
- Confirm the mission and door. Three combinations belong to Mission 10, but each opens a different location; the fourth belongs to Shiro’s penthouse in Mission 15.
- Check the digits one at a time against the table. The codes are four digits, and leading zeroes matter: the Material Crate combination begins with 0.
- Make sure you have exposed the keypad. For the Whisky Bottle room, the wooden crate must be smashed first.
- Use the local clue to verify your position: fingerprint-marked buttons identify the elevator, while protruding manga volumes identify Shiro’s cabinet.
You cannot find the room
- For the Material Crate, start from the point where Mystique opens the route, follow the blue scent trail, and take the first corridor on the left.
- For the Whisky Bottle, continue until after the jet-engine and fire sequence, then turn left into the corner area.
- For the penthouse, search the bookshelf near the cabinet; the four protruding volumes are the visual clue.
You already finished the mission
Use Mission Replay for the two optional Mission 10 rooms, as reported by AllThingsHow. Replaying is a practical way to collect the crafting crate or whisky bottle without relying on memory of the original run.
Quick completion checklist
- In Mission 10, enter the elevator combination at Trask’s facility to continue the story.
- After Mystique opens the route, take the first left corridor from the blue scent trail and open the Material Crate room.
- After the jet-engine and fire sequence, turn left, smash the wooden crate, and open the Whisky Bottle room through the vent route.
- In Mission 15, inspect the four protruding manga volumes in Shiro’s penthouse and use their sequence for the cabinet.
- If either optional room was skipped, revisit Mission 10 through Mission Replay.
The complete set is therefore four combinations: two required story doors and two optional collectible rooms. The only published disagreement concerns Shiro’s penthouse, where 1924 is supported by the in-game manga-number clue and the consensus of the independent guides.
