The Infinity War mode is a team-based PvP format: NetEase says 12 players are divided into six two-player teams, which face other teams in Wakanda. Players choose from 13 heroes associated with the film. Rounds are short, and between rounds players choose randomized cards that can improve abilities or stats, letting them adjust their builds as the matches progress.

Each team begins with one randomly assigned Infinity Stone, which grants an ability. Defeating another team lets a pair take that team’s Stone.
