Find the application controls
- Sign in to your hosting dashboard.
- Open AI agents and select n8n.
- Choose the management section you need: Dashboard, Environment, Backups, or Logs.
These controls manage the deployed application instance. They are not the workflow editor. The setup guide describes regional rollout for access to AI Automation applications, so availability may depend on your account’s region and the current rollout. Hostinger’s Managed n8n setup guide

Check status and instance details
The Dashboard section shows application status and controls to open, restart, or delete the instance. It also lists the installed n8n version, plan name and expiration date, and disk use. Shortcuts lead to logs and AI-powered log analysis. The guide also shows renewal and an option to upgrade disk capacity to 50 GB; it does not establish a general storage allowance for every plan. Use restart as an operational action when you intend to restart the application. Deletion is a separate control and removes the instance; do not treat it as a routine way to troubleshoot.

Change environment variables carefully
Open Environment to search for a variable or reveal all values. Use the pencil icon to edit a value, the trash icon to remove a variable, or Add environment variable to create one. Hostinger cautions that editing or removing variables n8n depends on can affect functionality. Its examples include N8N_WEBHOOK_URL and N8N_EDITOR_BASE_URL. Make configuration changes only when you know why they are needed, and avoid deleting variables simply because their purpose is unclear. Hostinger’s environment-variable instructions
Restore or download a backup
- Open Backups.
- Select the backup using its date and time.
- Choose Restore application to restore it, or Download backup to save a copy.
Hostinger says backups appear once daily and are retained for seven days. If no backup has been created, the list is empty. The same section includes restore history so you can see previous restore actions. These are service-policy details in Hostinger’s guide, not independently measured figures. Review and export logs
In Logs, filter entries, show only errors and warnings, refresh the list, copy visible logs, or download them. The Analyze logs feature asks AI to review the logs and suggest fixes or performance improvements. Treat those as suggestions to investigate, not a guaranteed diagnosis or automatic repair. Managed hosting or self-hosting?
Managed n8n is designed to provide a ready-to-use workspace, with automated deployment, a dedicated Docker container, and hosting-provider administration of the server, infrastructure updates, and security settings. That keeps server operations distinct from building and maintaining workflows.
